You never really drop being a savage in business but as you move toward sage, you learn to recognize when your business is a good fit and when it’s not. You learn when to say yes and when to say no. You begin to lead with wisdom and lean into the uncomfortable, and it moves you into an authenticity people gravitate towards. And this beautiful balance of savage and sage can grow a business exponentially.
For our first episode of Season 3 of Savage to Sage, I discuss all this with Kelly Siegel, CEO of National Technology Management. Kelly relates how his personal transformation led to massive business transformation. He found himself amazed at how much better and more present he was when he let go of the victim mentality... and how vastly that impacted his business in positive ways. His business increased by 30% and his family – and work family – relationships improved. Kelly’s experience and his willingness to openly share inspired me and I believe it will inspire you as well.

He’s known for his ability to see everyone’s point of view and deliver results. Kelly’s been a mover and a shaker ever since his first paper route when he was 12 years old. It was clear from a young age that he was destined to run his own company. He’s truly great at solving puzzles. The first things you’ll notice about Kelly is his big personality and relentless pursuit of excellence. But once you get to know him, you’ll be taken with his kind, happy and generous demeanor. In Kelly’s book, family comes first. One of his favorite things to do is to have meals with his family. He also has a cat named Felix, who also enjoys mealtimes, and a small yorkie named Sammy, who forgives Felix for his bossy ways. When he’s not working or with his family, you’ll find him working out, reading or listening to a podcast. He’s a huge fan of personal development and really good comedy. His mission in life is to always strive to learn more and to get better.
