Transcripts

Karen:

Hi, this is Karen. If you're hearing this, then you're one of our listeners and we appreciate you.

We're going on an extended hiatus and we encourage you to subscribe if you aren't already a subscriber. That way you can get announcements of what's new here in the future. This podcast is a labor of love. It's just the two of us working on it.

We don't have a team behind us helping with audio processing or anything like that. Our team support is mainly our very patient families who understand that we regularly need some time to create our shows.

We often talk about the importance of making mental health a priority in the midst of tough situations in life, and we also try to do that in our own lives. Sometimes life brings challenges, and sometimes life brings the really tough stuff.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Kelli Bessler, Kendra's younger sibling. Kelli brought love and light to their family and community.

Kelli wanted to make the world a better place for other humans, and one of their contributions included working on the suicide hotline. Kelli was also very artistic and made beautiful paintings. This is very recent and it's tragic to see a life end so soon.

Kendra is the executor of Kelli's estate and is taking care of things as Kelli requested. If you know Kendra or Kelli and you can be in the Spokane area on April 25, there's a celebration of life being planned.

You can find more details in RSVP at www.tinyurl.com/celebrateKelli Kelli's name is spelled K E L L I and I'll put the link in the notes for you here too. In the meantime, take care of yourself, hug your loved ones tight, and we'll see you next time.
