Hey, what's going on, everybody.
Speaker:Welcome back to the elemental oven show.
Speaker:Thank you all so much for tuning in on this mini Monday episode.
Speaker:Today's episode is a very relevant episode because it's all about
Speaker:immunity, which here in the Northern hemisphere, it is winter time.
Speaker:And I myself have personally seen a bunch of people getting sick.
Speaker:So this is a very relevant episode for the time.
Speaker:And on that note, I also wanted to mention that you already.
Speaker:No, I'm a big fan of Organifi and all of their, uh, mixed powder drinks
Speaker:and supplements that they have.
Speaker:They use extremely high.
Speaker:Quality ingredients.
Speaker:They third-party test for glyphosate to make sure that they are glyphosate free.
Speaker:So this is a very amazing company and their products are incredible.
Speaker:They taste delicious and they do great stuff in the body, which leads me
Speaker:to the immunity blend that Organify has, which is obviously very relevant
Speaker:to today's episode, being that it's all on immunity, but I just want to
Speaker:take a moment and explain that this immunity blend, which I am currently
Speaker:taking, and I take every winter.
Speaker:Uh, just to really boost my immune system, which by the way, knock on wood.
Speaker:I have not been, uh, sick this actually this entire year, I believe.
Speaker:So I'm really pumped on that.
Speaker:And I really attribute a lot of it to this immunity blend.
Speaker:So this immunity blend, just to give you an idea of what it has, it has
Speaker:500% of the recommended daily value of vitamin C vitamin D three and zinc.
Speaker:Okay.
Speaker:That's going to help, you know, promote a good immune response.
Speaker:Uh, it's going to give you optimal optimal levels of vitamin C and it also
Speaker:has some beta glucans from the reishi mushroom, which you already know.
Speaker:I'm a huge fan of all of the functional mushrooms, but the reishi
Speaker:mushroom is an incredible one.
Speaker:And the beta glucans have actually been shown to support in modulating
Speaker:the immune system, leading to a healthy immune response without
Speaker:overstimulating the immune system.
Speaker:It's an incredible, incredible product.
Speaker:I really love their stuff as well as all of the products that they have.
Speaker:But immunity blend is definitely on stack here at my house during winter time.
Speaker:So if you want to go ahead and get your hands on some of the immunity blend, be
Speaker:sure to click the link in the show notes.
Speaker:It will take you right over to organic FI's website and there is a 20%
Speaker:discount code just for all of you.
Speaker:Elemental Eben listeners.
Speaker:That is a little, thank you for me to you.
Speaker:Uh, for being a listener to this show and also for me to help
Speaker:you boost your immune system.
Speaker:Right.
Speaker:So go on ahead and head over to Organifi, just click the link in the show notes
Speaker:and it'll take you right over there.
Speaker:Now let's go ahead and jump into the three.
Speaker:Tips that I have for boosting your immune system during winter time.
Speaker:So I could have done a really long episode on this and maybe I will in the future.
Speaker:Uh, but I'm going to keep this very short and I'm going to keep it
Speaker:pretty brief in terms of how deep I go into each of the three topics.
Speaker:So, you know, if you want to hear more about it, reach out to me, let me know.
Speaker:And I can always either just send you some information or it'll give me the
Speaker:motivation to make a longer episode, but we're going to start this episode off with
Speaker:one of my favorite ways of not getting sick, which is aside from Organifi.
Speaker:immunity blend obviously is exercise it's movement, right?
Speaker:Movement is medicine.
Speaker:I always say this movement is medicine.
Speaker:And the reason I say movement is because movement can be anything it's
Speaker:exercise, I think has this connotation of, you know, either running or being
Speaker:in a gym, which it doesn't have to be.
Speaker:That movement can be any form.
Speaker:It can be dancing, it can be yoga, it can be capita Weta.
Speaker:It can be, um, you know, it could be running, it could be lifting weights.
Speaker:It could be those of course, but you know, it's anything that gets your heart rate
Speaker:going and get you sweating a little bit.
Speaker:Right.
Speaker:And breathing a little bit harder.
Speaker:Other than normal.
Speaker:That to me is movement, right?
Speaker:We're moving our body in this space.
Speaker:And what that's doing is it's actually also not just moving
Speaker:your body and your muscles.
Speaker:It's also moving your lymphatic fluids, right.
Speaker:Your lymphatic system, which is very, very important for our immune system, because.
Speaker:The lymphatic system is indeed a part of the immune system.
Speaker:Uh, it actually keeps body fluid levels, imbalance and defense against
Speaker:in fact, uh, sorry, infections.
Speaker:So it is a very, very important part of our immune system.
Speaker:However, the lymphatic system does not contain a pump system, right?
Speaker:Unlike the heart, for example, which can actually beat, you
Speaker:know, and, and move blood through all of our veins, the lymphatic
Speaker:system lacks this form of a pump.
Speaker:So it needs to physically be moved either through a massage or through
Speaker:movement, right through exercise.
Speaker:We are exercising out all of the impurities when we are exercising.
Speaker:So definitely 100% movement is my favorite way of really not getting sick.
Speaker:And especially if I'm moving outside and getting some sunlight
Speaker:on me, that's always beneficial.
Speaker:So now the second thing that I enjoy doing.
Speaker:Is, I love taking functional mushrooms because they are so
Speaker:incredible for your immune system and just everything across the board.
Speaker:Now, there are two mushrooms here.
Speaker:I'm mainly going to focus on the Shogen mushroom, but it would be terrible
Speaker:if I did not also mention the Turkey tail mushroom Turkey tail mushroom is
Speaker:really great for bolstering your immune system and just keeping you functioning
Speaker:at your best and tackling any virus or bacteria that comes your way.
Speaker:However, Shaka is as well incredible for your immune system.
Speaker:It.
Speaker:It actually promotes the formation of beneficial cytokines.
Speaker:Which are specialized proteins that regulate the immune system.
Speaker:Okay.
Speaker:Chagas stimulates white blood cells, and these are able to actually fight
Speaker:off harmful bacteria and viruses.
Speaker:So, uh, Shoghi is actually also believed to help with some serious illnesses and
Speaker:disease, which I, you know, obviously I'm not a medical professional, I'm not
Speaker:telling you to go do this necessarily, although when it hurt, but you know,
Speaker:they actually have used Xanga in terms of, uh, fighting cancer, they find that
Speaker:it has a lot of anti-cancer properties, which is an incredible benefit, right.
Speaker:Uh, so taking Sharga trust me, it's going to be doing more benefit than harm
Speaker:because it's really not going to do any.
Speaker:The harm to you.
Speaker:So, uh, there's nothing but benefits here to be had from taking Xanga.
Speaker:And Turkey tail as well.
Speaker:These functional mushrooms are incredible.
Speaker:They're growing in popularity and they will continue to do so
Speaker:because they've been used for literally like thousands of years.
Speaker:Uh, and have cured many, many people and helped so many around the world
Speaker:in a battling different diseases and illnesses and sicknesses.
Speaker:So.
Speaker:Definitely get your hands on some chaga.
Speaker:Um, like I was saying, uh, the Organifi blends, some of them actually
Speaker:have the chaga mushroom in them.
Speaker:I believe.
Speaker:Uh, so go ahead and check them out.
Speaker:I think the gold formula has the shotgun there.
Speaker:So go ahead and get some of that or just get some Xanga.
Speaker:Um, you can get it in a tincture form or you can get it in like capsule or,
Speaker:uh, you can actually buy whole Xanga.
Speaker:And brew it like a T if that's something you're into as well.
Speaker:Uh, you have to brute for kind of a long time.
Speaker:So it might be a little difficult, but whatever way you do it, just
Speaker:make sure you're getting it.
Speaker:And now this is going to bring me to the very last portion
Speaker:of this episode, which is.
Speaker:Gut health.
Speaker:So you already know gut health is my number.
Speaker:One thing that I really pretty much focus on aside from longevity.
Speaker:Which obviously the two go hand in hand.
Speaker:But our gut and the health of our, essentially our whole digestive system.
Speaker:Is so important for everything that goes on in the body, but
Speaker:especially with the immune system.
Speaker:And the reason for that is because 70% of the immune system is
Speaker:physically located in the gut.
Speaker:Okay.
Speaker:So 70% of your immune system.
Speaker:Is in your gut.
Speaker:If your gut is not functioning properly, if you have leaky gut, if you're inflamed,
Speaker:if you have any kind of digestive issues.
Speaker:That is a problem and it can directly affect your immune system.
Speaker:And on top of that, the most common way that we actually get infected by
Speaker:viruses or bacteria tend to be through consumption through the mouth, right.
Speaker:Eating something, putting something in our mouth that has the virus or the bacteria.
Speaker:And then it obviously goes down into our digestive system.
Speaker:And if we don't have, you know, like proper levels of, of, uh, diet, you
Speaker:know, our digestive acid in there.
Speaker:To kill off those viruses, then they will take root in our bodies and
Speaker:obviously cause a bunch of problems for us, which we do not want.
Speaker:So taking care of your gut is going to be really, really high on the
Speaker:list of things to do to not get sick.
Speaker:This definitely means eating a, you know, a very diverse.
Speaker:Kind of diet in terms of having a lot of prebiotic fiber, which tends to come
Speaker:from different fruits and vegetables.
Speaker:Uh, you know, we want to make sure that we're also eating fermented
Speaker:foods, such as kimchi, sauerkraut.
Speaker:Uh, you know, any of those kinds of, uh, fermented foods like, uh, Keefer as well
Speaker:as really, really great, uh, sending a lot of probiotics into our, into our gut.
Speaker:Taking a post pre or pro or all three.
Speaker:Uh, biotic.
Speaker:Is a really great idea to help bolster your, uh, the diversity of
Speaker:the microbiota that are in your gut.
Speaker:And let's see, what else can you do for your guy?
Speaker:Um, And.
Speaker:And then just don't eat the bad foods.
Speaker:Right.
Speaker:We want to avoid a lot of sugar and we want to avoid a lot of fried foods.
Speaker:Those are going to be big.
Speaker:Uh, big things that are going to cause a lot of issues if we
Speaker:are ingesting too much of them.
Speaker:So, uh, really just focus on eliminating those from your diet
Speaker:and adding in the good stuff.
Speaker:And that is going to definitely help with your immune system and
Speaker:help with your honestly, help with everything in your body.
Speaker:Because the digestive system is at the core of everything.
Speaker:If you are not able to digest your food properly, then how do you expect your body
Speaker:to be given the correct nutrients and that it's going to need to function properly.
Speaker:That's going to do it.
Speaker:Sorry for my brain.
Speaker:I hope that this was not too long of a, you know, quote unquote
Speaker:mini Monday episode, but I think I've kept it pretty short.
Speaker:And I hope I gave you some really beneficial tips and tricks for this winter
Speaker:season here in the Northern hemisphere.
Speaker:Uh, you know, feel free to you.
Speaker:And start implementing these into your life immediately.
Speaker:Obviously exercise or movement is very easy to, uh, you know,
Speaker:put into your life right away.
Speaker:You could go for a walk after listening to this episode, or maybe even better.
Speaker:You're walking while you're listening to this episode, that's going to be,
Speaker:that's going to do so much for you and, uh, you know, taking care of your gut.
Speaker:That's very simple.
Speaker:Just buy some foods that are going to be healthy for your gut.
Speaker:Like I said, those probiotic, rich foods, things that have a lot of prebiotic
Speaker:fiber, like, uh, fruits and vegetables.
Speaker:And, uh, you know, making sure we're not eating too much sugar.
Speaker:Uh, not eating too much fruit.
Speaker:Uh, too many fried foods.
Speaker:These are going to be very key and kind of hard to do during the.
Speaker:You know this time of year, because obviously we're eating at these
Speaker:big parties and having these Christmas parties and Thanksgiving
Speaker:and all these different things.
Speaker:Obviously there's a lot of, uh, not super healthy foods there.
Speaker:So just be careful and mindful of that.
Speaker:And, uh, yeah, just keep, uh, keep a good mindset.
Speaker:Um, you know, get these functional mushrooms as well as Chagas.
Speaker:and, uh, like Rishi as well.
Speaker:Like I explained earlier, the beta glucans for me are really great,
Speaker:but also the Turkey tail pretty much any of the functional mushrooms
Speaker:are going to be great for you.
Speaker:Uh, so yeah, get on your way to better immunity and try not to get sick this
Speaker:year, so you can stay at your top level.
Speaker:And if you do then still do these things and it will help
Speaker:you to bounce back quicker.
Speaker:Alrighty, everyone that is going to do it for today's episode.
Speaker:If you are not already subscribed on whatever platform it is that you're

Speaker:pretty much anyone at this period in time.
Speaker:Um, but yeah, definitely feel free to share this with anyone who needs it.
