9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.
Paul. Galatians 6:9, 10. Hi, it’s Nathan, and this is Day 12 of 30 Days of Growing. So, if there’s one harvest you SHOULD be planting? It’s a liberal broadcasting of kind deeds into the lives of others. How are you sowing seeds of goodness today, into the lives of others? Single, kind acts, have altered the course of nations, saved lives, healed fractured relationships. The warm smile from the random stranger. The passing affirmation from an acquaintance. The “I forgive you”. The financial help in a difficult crisis. In fact, the more these little acts are the substance of life and not the candy sprinkles—the richer their impact and the more surprising the harvest. A life lived lavishly for others will yield a magnificent harvest of beauty—a thing of wonder that God himself will revel in. As we walk with Jesus into each new day, he can do in us a work so deep, so beautiful—that through us he sows our world, with the wonder of his love.
