We were lucky enough to travel to Point Pleasant to enjoy the annual Mothman Festival, a celebration of the legendary creature that has captivated the town and visitors alike. The festival offers a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the lore and mystery surrounding the Mothman. We then venture into the TNT Area, where World War II-era bunkers called TNT Igloos stand as silent witnesses to some of the infamous Mothman sightings. Our exploration culminates in an examination of the tragic event that shook Point Pleasant—the Silver Bridge Collapse. On December 15, 1967, this busy bridge collapsed, claiming the lives of 46 people. Join us as we navigate through these captivating tales, shedding light on one of America’s most enduring mysteries.
