There is a principle being taught here to make a point. The way that we should go about giving is in private, with anyone as close as our hands, knowing. B) Praying to be seen, that sounds about right – if it’s praying to be seen by God. If we pray “to be seen” by people, then people can answer the prayers. Good luck with that. This is not a reference to ceremonies. C) Why does Jesus tell us to pray in secret? It’s the place where we think that nobody is looking. But God always is. Praying in secret opens up the hidden places. It also makes it clear that there are no distractions.
