Hey there, it's Michael on Mondays. I love sharing a short meditation with you to help you feel grounded and safe as you navigate today's uncertainty with a bit more mindfulness, resilience, and grace. And the practice I wish to share with you today is from my app, which is called Pause, breathe, reflect, and you can download it for free in Apple's App Store or Google Play.

It's called Keep Pedaling.

When we first learned to ride a bike, our parents know that we'll probably fall down plenty of times. Although we don't know that when we begin, when we first fall down, it's a moment of failure, but it's also a moment of learning and a chance to demonstrate our resilience because we can't show that we're resilient until after we fall down.

So let's take a moment here to remember that we're strong enough to keep pedaling wherever you might be. Settle into a comfortable position.

As you do, you may wish to close your eyes. Of course, if you're riding a bike right now, I would recommend keeping your eyes open. And that's just me.

And let's drop in. We'll begin with a generous breath in breathing in the air around you as your lungs expand.

And now release the breath. Settling into this moment. And the natural rhythm of the breath.

We'll use the power of mantra to help us remember that we're strong enough to keep pedaling, to help us remember that we're resilient. As you breathe in, you can repeat. I am strong enough, and as you breathe out, you can say to keep pedaling breathing in. I'm strong enough, breathing out to keep pedaling.

Breathing in strong enough. Breathing out. To keep pedaling.

When we fully participate in life, we're bound to fall down. One could say it's a moment of failure. You can also see it as a moment to learn and demonstrate how resilient you are. You can get back up again because you're strong enough to keep pedaling,

so I encourage you to do just that, to keep pedaling toward the goals that you have in life.

Because you are resilient. It's how you put a beautiful ripple into the world.

I hope you enjoyed the practice, and you'll share it with someone you know. And don't forget to download, pause, breathe, reflect for free, an Apple's app store or Google Play for more meditations like this one. And the app also has a special feature that can help you reduce your screen time on your phone so you spend less time on it and more time doing things that bring you more joy.
