When Garrett Vick exited the Marine Corps in late 2020 he knew business ownership was his next step. In March of 2021, he decided U.S. Lawns was the right fit for him and he dove straight into the deep end by acquiring three operational territories in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. That's right, a brand new owner with no landscape experience acquires three territories in a major metro area right as the growing season is about to begin. What could possibly go wrong?

Fortunately for Garrett, his time in the Marine Corps had prepared him well for the leadership challenges ahead.
