Shownotes
Over the past few months I’ve tuned in to the ways that I’m ready to better support my mental health. With such an investment in habits and personal growth, I know so many tools to help me feel physically, mentally, and emotionally strong yet something still just doesn’t feel right. I know in my gut that there’s something bigger at hand that needs to be tended to in this season. Finally, this week, I made the call to ask for help. This episode feels vulnerable and a little scary to share, but I know that it’s an important conversation worth having. My hope is that it will help you consider the ways you might be ready to ask for help and pass along the bravery to make the calls you need.
In this episode, we cover:
- What held me back from starting therapy sooner
- Learning that sometimes we need more help beyond what we can control and do ourselves
- My journey to finding myself again
- How we aren’t meant to do life alone
