Florida is moving toward making gold and silver legal tender, starting on July 1, 2026. Which means the idea of paying with precious metals is not as far-fetched as it once sounded. Florida's move reflects growing concerns about government spending, inflation, and the long-term stability of the dollar. Supporters see gold and silver as a way to restore sound money and financial freedom. But beyond the policy debate, what are we trusting to provide security when economic uncertainty grows?
