Unknown:So let's jump in. Hey, there, everyone, be May 8, may 8, Happy
Unknown:May Happy May 8. This is Coach Kelly, welcome to episode
Unknown:159 159. Of let's be honest, before we start pretending, and
Unknown:we are going to continue with the tool called intentions so
Unknown:that as you are taking the lead in your life, you are creating
Unknown:more of the results that you want. And last week, we talked
Unknown:about what intention is, and using the three Ds to create the
Unknown:magic, that intention is. And the three Ds are deciding,
Unknown:declaring, and then doing that's the action piece. And I'm
Unknown:curious how that's working for you. Or I'm curious, also, if
Unknown:you thought about that, and like where you've seen that occur in
Unknown:your life. So today, we're gonna go ahead and we're going to
Unknown:continue on with intention. In fact, we're going to do this all
Unknown:month because it is such a magical tool that I think is a
Unknown:game changer that I think it warrants like a mini series. So
Unknown:that's what we're going to be doing. And today what we're
Unknown:going to do is we're going to talk about how do you get clear
Unknown:on what your intention is? Because you'll see where we next
Unknown:week, talk about intention and results. And looking at results,
Unknown:not just when they happen the way we want them to, but also
Unknown:when they don't. What's going to be helpful today is how do you
Unknown:get clear, because when we manifest a result that we didn't
Unknown:want, and we've been going for it going for it going for it, we
Unknown:can we can kind of give up a little bit, we can lose our gas,
Unknown:because we're like, see, it doesn't work. What I'm going to
Unknown:suggest is that it does work. And that is simply telling you
Unknown:you weren't quite clear, you weren't quite clear yet. Okay.
Unknown:As I always say, don't give up your outcomes and goals are
Unknown:worth it. And so are you. So don't give up. Because part of
Unknown:this whole thing called intention is requiring you to
Unknown:think and be an action like we talked about last week. But it
Unknown:also requires you to be really clear on what your intention is.
Unknown:And that in itself, could be an entire mini series. And maybe I
Unknown:will do that actually a little bit down the road. But for
Unknown:today, I'm going to give you some really cool highlights on
Unknown:what that is. Now, something I was thinking about, as I was
Unknown:recording these episodes, a lot of you joined me on the take the
Unknown:lead in your life workshops that we had last quarter. And that is
Unknown:where I am taking different episodes and putting them
Unknown:together to create a bundle of workshops so that not only are
Unknown:you listening to this, you can now take it from concept into
Unknown:action in your life. So the next set of take the lead in your
Unknown:life workshops are going to be on intention. And we're going to
Unknown:dive a little bit deeper. And it's going to be amazing, you're
Unknown:going to be able to use it in real time. And that's coming
Unknown:second quarter. So watch this space, watch the show notes.

Unknown:So they will be coming second quarter. So that means they're
Unknown:coming soon because we're in the second quarter. So I believe the
Unknown:first one is going to happen in June. All right. You heard it
Unknown:here first. Okay, so let's talk about intention and getting
Unknown:clear on intention. I remember years ago working with a mentor,
Unknown:and she would often tell me, you got to get clear on your
Unknown:intention. Get clear on your intention. Get clear, you're not
Unknown:clear and I was like I'll say Like, I'm clear, I feel like I'm
Unknown:clear, but it's not working. And it never occurred to me to say
Unknown:like, how do you get clear on your intention? Like I keep
Unknown:hearing get clear on your intention, but I have no idea
Unknown:how to do it. Well, I didn't ask, but I won't, I went on to a
Unknown:further training. And suddenly, I remember sitting in this room
Unknown:and working with another mentor. And we were having a discussion
Unknown:on intention, and like diving deeper in it. And I remember
Unknown:sort of looking around the room at the different charts that
Unknown:were up on the wall. And it came to me. And I was like, Oh, this
Unknown:is how you get clear on intention. Because there's four,
Unknown:I can't remember what they called it. If it was pillars, I
Unknown:don't remember. But to me, they're like the four components
Unknown:of intention. And I'm going to share them with you right now,
Unknown:without any further ado, because this, my friends is how you get
Unknown:clear on intention. First and foremost, you've got to have a
Unknown:vision for something or an outcome, something that you
Unknown:want, could be a goal, I put them in these three categories.
Unknown:It's a vision, it's an outcome, it's a goal, always something
Unknown:that you want. It's something that you want, period, something
Unknown:that you want to generate, could be more finances, better
Unknown:relationships, better health, whatever better is for you,
Unknown:you've got to define it, you've got to get really clear on what
Unknown:better is. Same thing with the word more, you have to define
Unknown:it, you have to be really clear because they big goals or vague
Unknown:outcomes or vague vision creates what a vague a vague vision goal
Unknown:or outcome. Okay? So you got to get really specific, that's
Unknown:Component number one. Number one, what do I want very
Unknown:specifically, drill it down, get as specific as you can even
Unknown:imagine, the more specific you are, the more apt you are to
Unknown:generate it. Okay, period done. Also, I'm going to add in this
Unknown:caveat, you, it's got to be something that you can measure,
Unknown:because what we measure grows, okay, what we're paying
Unknown:attention to what we measure what we nurture, will grow.
Unknown:Okay, write that down, put it on a post it, stick it wherever you
Unknown:can see that because it's really trip. All right. Second
Unknown:component, you have to know your purpose in it. That is why, and
Unknown:I've done plenty of episodes on this. So you're here with me,
Unknown:you know, you know, we this is it, that I know what you want.
Unknown:Gotta know why you want it. Okay. So purpose. Why do I want
Unknown:this? Like, why, really? And I would ask that, why, really? Why
Unknown:now? Why really? Why now? Why is this important to me? Hey, those
Unknown:are three adjuncts that I like to add to it versus simply why?
Unknown:Why do I want it? Like? Why really? Why now? And why is this
Unknown:important to me? takes it to a whole different level, a whole
Unknown:different level. Okay. The third component is energy. What is the
Unknown:energy that I am going to bring to this? What's the energy that
Unknown:I'm going to bring to this? Also? What is the energy
Unknown:required to have this happen? Again, we've talked about this
Unknown:before. So I'm highlighting these because it goes hand in
Unknown:hand with this series. What's the energy that's required to
Unknown:have this happen? What's the energy I'm going to bring to
Unknown:this, okay? And there is a saying by Abraham Hicks that
Unknown:says, energy flows, where my attention goes, energy flows,
Unknown:where my attention goes. So what does that mean? That means what
Unknown:am I focused on? So when you think of that, that third
Unknown:component called energy? What am I focused on? What is what am I
Unknown:going to what am I going to focus on it goes with intention,
Unknown:where's my intention going to be? Hey, which means you got to
Unknown:go all in. You've got to have some things in play all the
Unknown:time. Action, okay. Small steps, big steps, medium steps, steps
Unknown:that are moving you forward. Period, pay out your your
Unknown:outcome, what you want your purpose why you want it, that is
Unknown:the thought that is the thinking part. Now, the second two
Unknown:components are moving into that action part. Energy, what's the
Unknown:energy I'm bringing? Let you know me, I'm gonna say let's go.
Unknown:That's the kind of energy like let's go let's go. Right. That's
Unknown:the kind of energy and where does my attention got to be?
Unknown:Well, I can declare this thing and then if I don't go focus on
Unknown:it, there's nothing going to happen. I promise you. Okay. So
Unknown:think about that. Think about that, because that's going to go
Unknown:into your action piece. And then that fourth component is
Unknown:commitment. Commitment. You will no, you can't, you know, it's
Unknown:easy for us to say I'm committed to, I'm going to use the example
Unknown:that I've been using that I've been using, that I've been in
Unknown:using that I've been using in the series. And that is the
Unknown:weight loss to get to the first knee surgery. Okay, I could say
Unknown:I'm committed to losing 15 pounds. But that doesn't
Unknown:necessarily mean I'm committed. And I'll tell you how you know,
Unknown:you're committed, because it's going to show up in your action.
Unknown:And it's going to show up over time. Okay, which, therefore,
Unknown:you want to have a time element in there. So like, you heard me
Unknown:say, I will lose 15 pounds by surgery date. Okay. And you knew
Unknown:that I was committed, because the action I was taking was
Unknown:different. Okay, some of it was the same, and just reviewing
Unknown:what was working and not working in it and making some
Unknown:adjustments. So some of them were small bits, some of them
Unknown:were bold, and massive, okay, bold and massive. I had a belief
Unknown:that I couldn't really move my body that much because of the
Unknown:pain. Well, guess what I could, I had to challenge that belief,
Unknown:and challenge it to the point without hurting myself further,
Unknown:but really challenge the belief and allow myself to surprise
Unknown:myself, okay. So allow yourself to surprise yourself. Commitment
Unknown:shows up in action. And over time, that's the only way you
Unknown:know, you're committed. Otherwise, you're still in the
Unknown:idea of something. All right. And so, at the end, what I could
Unknown:actually say is, I was committed to losing 12 pounds, I needed to
Unknown:lose seven, I declared 15. And my commitment was 12. How do I
Unknown:know? Because results don't lie. They don't lie. What that result
Unknown:is is what you were committed to now. I was thrilled, I was
Unknown:thrilled. I was like, what? And I said it out loud to anyone who
Unknown:would listen, no, I lost 12 pounds, I was so happy. Because
Unknown:like I shared with you, there was a time where I was like, oh,
Unknown:shoot, I gotta lose seven pounds. Oh, there was a time
Unknown:where it would have been like, no problem. It's fine. And this
Unknown:is not that time, although I got to surprise myself and lose even
Unknown:more than the 12. Okay, so those are the four components, you
Unknown:have to know what you have to think about that and get really
Unknown:clear and really specific. You have to know why, hey, and why
Unknown:really, why now and why this is important. That's the thinking
Unknown:process. That's the thinking process. And then you've got to
Unknown:move it to the action piece, the doing piece, right? Remember the
Unknown:three Ds, you've got to decide, you've got to declare and then
Unknown:you've got to do and so in these four components that are helping
Unknown:you get really, really clear on your intention, knowing what it
Unknown:is, knowing why, what's the energy required? And where's my
Unknown:focus going to be energy and focus go hand in hand, where's
Unknown:my focus going to be? And then what is my commitment? What is
Unknown:my commitment, I am willing to do whatever it takes within
Unknown:legal that is legal to have this happen. And then allow yourself
Unknown:to surprise yourself. I was not mad at 12. I was thrilled,
Unknown:because I was well over the seven, which was actually my
Unknown:intention. That was actually my intention. How do I know? It was
Unknown:on the scale? The results don't lie. Okay. And it worked. It
Unknown:worked. I'm telling you, it's magic. And how I know this works
Unknown:is because I put myself into the experiment with every belief
Unknown:that it would, okay. Now, next week, when we get back together,
Unknown:we're going to look at intention and results. And we're going to
Unknown:look at when it works. And when it doesn't work. Okay. I'm going
Unknown:to suggest that we don't get down on ourselves when it
Unknown:doesn't work, because there is so much in it that we can
Unknown:leverage. All right. So that's how you get clear on your
Unknown:intention. And you can build on the tool of intention with the
Unknown:3ds. With now even more clarity on answering the million dollar
Unknown:question, how do I get clear on my intention? So practice that
Unknown:this week. Again, I am going to bring these into workshops that
Unknown:you can take your real life and Workshop it with me. The first
Unknown:one will be coming in June, it's going to be spectacular, you're
Unknown:gonna want to sign up for these. And utilize these tools to help
Unknown:you generate more of what you want in your life. So remember,
Unknown:you have a choice to lead your life or follow your
Unknown:circumstances. Life is about knowing your passions, your
Unknown:purpose, your values, and really creating that impact that you
Unknown:want in your life and creating an impact in the life of others.
Unknown:And who emerges from that are in there people that are
Unknown:intentional, and authentic and vulnerable and courageous, and
Unknown:generating much more of the results they want. It never
Unknown:looks the way we think it's going to so you got to trust the
Unknown:more gets revealed as we move forward. So you can take those
Unknown:pauses, let go of worry and doubt and live fully the best
Unknown:version of you. Thank you for listening today. I know there
