Once again, we’ve got more cops, more rock, and more Randy Newman sweating his butt off while playing the piano. It’s Cop Rock Episode 6 - Oil of Ol’Lay.

This may be Justin and Steve’s sixth Cop Rock assignment, but this time the chief is sticking them with a new partner and resident musical expert, Ellen Gutoskey. She’s here to help the boys understand how musical logic works and conduct a full investigation into whether those rules hold up in the world of Cop Rock.

Ellen is in for one hell of a ride-along as the sixth installment of Steven Bochco’s hard-edged cop show/musical delivers some of its most outlandish musical numbers yet, and quite possibly the cringiest scene in the entire series. Giddy up.
