Have you ever spent so much time with someone that you start picking up their expressions or mannerisms? I saw a video of a border collie so focused on its trainer that every movement she made, the dog mirrored almost perfectly.

I couldn’t stop thinking about it. That kind of attention—that closeness, focus, and willingness to follow—is exactly what I want my relationship with Jesus to look like.

The more time we spend with Him, the more His life should begin showing up in ours. Maybe the question today isn’t only whether we believe in Jesus, but whether being close to Him is changing the way we walk.

Scripture (NIV):

1 John 2:6 — “Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.”

Reflection Questions:

Who or what is shaping the way I live right now?

Am I spending enough time with Jesus to recognize His ways?

What is one way I can reflect Him more clearly today?
