Speaker A:

Welcome to Notes to Her the Daily Pep Talk.

Speaker A:

I'm Yaya, your confidence and mindset coach, here to help you stop doubting yourself, overthinking and start showing up boldly.

Speaker A:

This is your space for a quick boost of confidence and clarity.

Speaker A:

A few minutes each day to reset your mindset and remind yourself of who you are.

Speaker A:

Every episode is a reset, a reminder that confidence isn't magic or luck.

Speaker A:

It's built moment by moment, one small shift at a time.

Speaker A:

In school, I would always get in trouble for passing notes to my friends.

Speaker A:

Maybe it was the early stages of my ADHD peeking through, but really I just wanted to connect.

Speaker A:

I just had to say something that was a little bit juicier than whatever the teacher was saying that day.

Speaker A:

So think of Notes to Her as my personal note to you.

Speaker A:

If you're in need of encouragement, a cheerleader, an accountability partner, or just someone.

Speaker B:

To give you that extra push to.

Speaker A:

Get through your day, this is it.

Speaker B:

And because this is our launch sprint.

Speaker A:

Here'S what you can expect.

Speaker A:

I'll be giving you a daily pep talk Monday through Friday for the next two weeks.

Speaker B:

Each one's going to be quick, practical.

Speaker A:

And easy to use.

Speaker A:

Then we'll settle into a three times a week rhythm so that you will never miss your confidence boost.

Speaker A:

So let's get into it.

Speaker B:

If you had 60 seconds to change your day, would you use it?

Speaker B:

Most women think confidence takes months of journaling or some big dramatic change.

Speaker B:

But really it's built in moments.

Speaker B:

Micro moments where you choose calm over chaos, truth instead of stories and self belief instead of self doubt.

Speaker B:

Now self doubt is sneaky.

Speaker B:

It sounds like your own voice, but most of the time it's usually a collection of other people's opinions and old experiences you've carried for years.

Speaker B:

Maybe you grew up being told not to make mistakes, so now you equate mistakes with failure.

Speaker B:

Maybe you tried something once and it didn't work out, so your mind decided it's safer not to try again.

Speaker B:

Or maybe you compare yourself to everyone else who looks further along and think, who am I to do that?

Speaker B:

This is your inner voice trying to protect you.

Speaker B:

But the hard truth is safety and growth rarely live in the same house.

Speaker B:

And the reason why I started this podcast is because I know this voice all too well.

Speaker B:

For years I was that woman, overthinking everything, questioning every decision, waiting until I felt ready.

Speaker B:

Notes to her is the daily pep talk I needed back then, and something I hope helps you quiet that inner voice and remember who you actually are.

Speaker B:

That's the real mission behind every episode.

Speaker B:

So self doubt doesn't just live in your thoughts, it sets the tone and shows up in how you move through your day.

Speaker B:

It might start small, like questioning your outfit.

Speaker B:

You change twice before you can even leave the house.

Speaker B:

Maybe you hesitate speaking up for yourself, so you end up rewriting that email three times.

Speaker B:

You might second guess what you posted yesterday so much.

Speaker B:

And then wonder if anybody noticed when you ended up deleting it.

Speaker B:

Each moment seems small on its own, but together they create a pattern that shrinks your confidence over time.

Speaker B:

In my work, I like to call this the silent danger of self doubt because it rarely screams.

Speaker B:

It whispers don't bother.

Speaker B:

It whispers you're not ready or someone else could do it better.

Speaker B:

And those whispers slowly drain your energy until you start believing them.

Speaker B:

It slows your decisions.

Speaker B:

It blurs your motivation.

Speaker B:

You stop taking risk.

Speaker B:

You over apologize, you hold back your ideas, and eventually you start living smaller than the life you were meant to live.

Speaker B:

You end up being tired, not because you've done too much, but because you've been battling your own mind the whole time.

Speaker B:

But the good news is, the moment you see the pattern, you can change it.

Speaker B:

Awareness is the first step to reclaiming your power.

Speaker B:

Now take a deep breath Right now.

Speaker B:

Inhale.

Speaker B:

And then exhale slowly.

Speaker B:

Think about one area this week where you've been doubting yourself.

Speaker B:

What were you doing?

Speaker B:

Who were you around?

Speaker B:

And what story was running through your head?

Speaker B:

You don't have to fix it, just notice it.

Speaker B:

Awareness is the first spark of confidence because you can't change what you don't see.

Speaker B:

So hold that awareness.

Speaker B:

That's the starting line.

Speaker B:

Now once you catch the spiral, there's a way to stop it.

Speaker B:

My five Steps Stop the Spiral Script Step one Notice the voice when you catch yourself saying I can't or or what if I fail?

Speaker B:

Pause.

Speaker B:

Don't argue, just name it.

Speaker B:

That's my doubt talking.

Speaker B:

STEP 2 Breathe 1.

Speaker B:

Deep breath in through your nose and hold for 3.

Speaker B:

And exhale through your mouth.

Speaker B:

The breath tells your body I'm safe.

Speaker B:

Step 3 Ask what's true right now.

Speaker B:

Not what you're afraid of.

Speaker B:

What's actually true.

Speaker B:

Maybe it's I've handled hard things before.

Speaker B:

Maybe it's I can take one small step.

Speaker B:

Step 4 Act small.

Speaker B:

Confidence grows through motion, not overthinking.

Speaker B:

Send the email.

Speaker B:

Take the walk.

Speaker B:

Just move, even while doubting.

Speaker B:

And step five.

Speaker B:

Repeat this mantra.

Speaker B:

Yes, I can.

Speaker B:

Three simple words that shift your state instantly.

Speaker B:

Say them out loud if you can.

Speaker B:

Yes, I can that's it.

Speaker B:

One minute, one reset, one new story beginning.

Speaker B:

Remember this self doubt is not a flaw.

Speaker A:

It's a signal.

Speaker B:

It shows up to keep you safe.

Speaker B:

But you get to decide if safe means staying stuck or stepping forward.

Speaker B:

And now you have the tool to pause the spiral.

Speaker B:

Breathe and come back to the truth.

Speaker B:

So next time doubt starts talking, hear my voice saying, you can pause, you can reset.

Speaker B:

You can do this because you're already becoming that woman, the one who leads her day.

Speaker B:

Instead of letting go, doubt lead it.

Speaker A:

Now, if today's pep talk gave you.

Speaker B:

A boost, grab my Stop the spiral script.

Speaker B:

It walks you through each step.

Speaker B:

Tomorrow, we're going to be talking about how tiny wins create unstoppable confidence.

Speaker B:

You're not going to want to miss this, Sam.
