I had briefly talked to Trey after our second visit to the restaurant before the review came out but this was my first in depth discussion with him.
This is part of my City Paper review follow up project and, unlike the first one with Tim Caschette from Avvino, this review wasn’t a particularly positive one. I was a little concerned about how it would go, but Trey was a great interview and someone who stands behind his product. After our discussion you could tell that he really cares about his customers and the neighborhood Havana Cabana resides in.
Make sure to check out Havana Cabana for yourself and tell me what you thought of it!
I hope you enjoy our conversation and please check in on the next week or so for my follow up podcast with Paul Vroman of Aunt Rosie’s. I did my first podcast with him last year when I was recording on my iPhone. I didn’t know if it was going to be a podcast or not at that point but I’m really glad I’ve kept going with it. I love podcasts and radio and hope to keep on going with this as long as I can.
