This week on the show Alyssa & Haley chat with nuclear engineer, amateur triathlete, and synchronized swim coach Victoria Anderson. Victoria recently participated in the AstraZeneca clinical trial for its COVID-19 vaccine, and she tells us what the experience has been like as a participant in this trial. She also speaks about what prompted her to put her name in the hat to participate in a vaccine trial, as well as the early impact that the pandemic had on her family as her parents were stuck onboard a cruise ship swept by an outbreak of COVID-19. Victoria also has a long list of accomplishments in triathlon, including qualifying for the World Triathlon Multisport World Championships for four different events two years in a row!
