“Faith is an absence of fear and a confidence in God“ - Wesleyne
Genesis 28:15:
What’s more, I am with you, and I will protect you wherever you go. One day I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have finished giving you everything I have promised you.
This verse is a profound reassurance from God to Jacob during a pivotal moment in his life. As Jacob was fleeing from his brother Esau and heading to a foreign land, he might have felt isolated, uncertain, and fearful of the future. Yet, in the midst of this uncertainty, God appears to him in a dream and offers a promise of His unwavering presence, protection, and provision. This divine assurance is not just limited to Jacob's immediate journey but extends to the fulfillment of God's larger plan for him and his descendants.
Today, you will learn about the steadfastness of God's promises and His unchanging nature. Regardless of the circumstances you find yourself in, God's commitment to His word remains unshaken. He is not a distant deity but an ever-present help, guiding and guarding us in our journeys. This verse also reminds us that God's plans often extend beyond our immediate understanding or circumstances. Even when you feel lost or unsure, God is working behind the scenes, orchestrating events to fulfill His promises. It's a testament to the depth of His love and the extent to which He will go to uphold His word to those who trust in Him.
