On today’s episode, I talk with Dr. Megan Stinson PT, DPT, co-owner od Stinson & Voss physical therapy. For 8 years, she owned or managed a thriving, growing, insurance based outpatient multidisciplinary rehab practice in a rural community in East Tennessee. After selling that practice, she stepped away from outpatient for almost 3 full years, determined that there had to be a better way to treat clients and give them the care that they really needed outside of the constraints of the typical insurance driven medical model.
In 2021, Megan and Dr. Kaitlyn Voss, a former employee, opened a cash based, private physical therapy practice in the same small town. In August of 2022, they joined the Platinum Mastermind and have seen exponential growth in their reach to the community and are beginning to see the time, stability, and financial impact in their personal lives. She has worked for years at the state and national level on physical therapy legislative issues and an currently the Practice Chair for her state professional association. For years, she has worked diligently to improve client/patient access to care through different avenues.
