Up next: three episodes at once! The first three episodes all launch together. I'll be talking about fashion, teenagers, and celebrities. You'll learn how these things can make your world more fleshed out and believable, how these things influence other areas of your world, how you can easily present them to your audience, and you'll see an example of a world being created based on each topic.

Spencer Penrod:
Hello and welcome to the Lazy Worldbuilding podcast, a podcast all about maximizing the value of your worldbuilding efforts.
Spencer Penrod:
It's fun and easy to get lost in the weeds when you're crafting fantasy worlds, but sometimes you just need to be productive and get things finished so you can write your story or run your game.
Spencer Penrod:
I'm here to help you figure out how to get the most impact out of the least effort so that you can have rich, detailed worlds without spending hundreds of hours going over details that no player or reader will ever see.
Spencer Penrod:
I'm Spencer Penrod and I've been building worlds for many years, both as a DM and writer.
Spencer Penrod:
Whether you're a writer wanting to actually write instead of spending all your time planning out obscure details of your world, a DM wanting to create a playground for your players without wasting effort on things no one will ever see, or someone who just enjoys fleshing out unique fantasy worlds, I've been in your shoes and am here to help.
Spencer Penrod:
As much as I love creating fantasy worlds, I also love optimizing the way that I spend my time and efforts on that task.
Spencer Penrod:
Ill use the insight ive gained from analyzing common advice about worldbuilding and storytelling methods to distill the best way to make your world seem intricately planned out without actually spending much time on that planning.
Spencer Penrod:
The lazy Worldbuilding podcasts approach to worldbuilding is one that will leave you with intriguing and believable worlds with a fraction of the effort you might otherwise spend.
Spencer Penrod:
I believe that you can make an interesting world starting from any point with minimal effort.
Spencer Penrod:
So that is exactly what im going to help you do.

Spencer Penrod:
And then I'll build a sample world using the topic as a starting point.
Spencer Penrod:
