00:00:07 Nazish: The state of your inner life slowly becomes the state of your body. The unspoken stress, the unprocessed grief, the unrelenting pace. They do not stay in mind. They do not stay in the spirit. They eventually move us into the tissue. They breed the breed, the sleep, the cells, and the people who eventually find their way back into a better health. Almost always find it back. Find it by. Find it. Way of the inner peace. Not the other way around. So today's conversation is about the quiet bridge between the inner life and the body that carries it.
00:00:47 Nazish: Welcome back to inner Peace. Better health. I am Nazish, and this is the show where we explore the gentle, often overlooked link between inner peace and physical well-being. Not the clinical version. The lived version. And today's guest brings thoughtful, integrative voice into this space. Joining me today is Doctor Nosheen heart, a voice in the conversation about integrative well-being, inner peace, and the mind body connection. Doctor, thank you so much for being here, and I welcome you to the show.
00:01:19 Dr. Noushin Hart: Thank you. Thanks for having me. I appreciate that.
00:01:21 Nazish: Wonderful. Before we go ahead, listeners,
00:02:02 Nazish: So, Doctor Hart, I want you to ask us. I want you to ask you to take us back to your real journey, to your original journey. You know, walk us back into the chapter of your life or your work. When you first realize that the inner state of a person was showing up in their physical health in ways no protocol alone could explain.
00:02:26 Dr. Noushin Hart: That's a very good question. I, uh, I finished medical school, uh, in nineteen eighty seven and came to the USA in nineteen ninety four and, uh, finished my residency in, uh, two thousand. So on the surface, I was very accomplished, successful person. However, when I came to the United States in nineteen ninety four, I had a severe insomnia. And like a Western trained physician. I thought I'd go to a doctor and they gave me a pill, and I'll be fine. And I couldn't be any more wrong. I went to a psychiatrist and they, for the first time they asked me about my childhood traumas. And for the first time, I admitted to someone that I had been sexually abused since age four. And that began my journey of, uh, what then my psychiatrist thought would be seven years of therapy, and it ended up being thirty years of therapy. And I only got worse as I opened up and my suppressed memories and traumas came to the surface. So I ended up, uh, with, uh, clinical depression, which was treatment resistant. I had my insomnia became chronic insomnia. I had PTSD. I had panic attacks. And then these all became, um, somatic. I had a lot of chronic physical issues. And um, it was only through energy work, uh, the modalities that now I offer, uh, to my own clients, Kundalini activation process and other modality called make anything possible, which to me is the most effective and the most efficient ways of treating childhood trauma that I became absolutely a new person. And just like you said, I found my inner peace. I remember when my last psychiatrist basically told me he did not have anything to offer me. He asked me, what do you want? And the only thing I could imagine was peace. I said, I want peace. I want my mind to be quiet and I want peace. And nowadays I experience things that I couldn't imagine. I, I, I experienced so much bliss and joy that I couldn't even ask for. Um, so yes, I completely agree, uh, through personal experience and personal journey that it is only through finding our inner peace and our higher self that not only we can heal our mental, uh, problems, but also our physical illnesses.
00:05:51 Nazish: Do you see in your story adds more reality and more weightage to it? Because if it is a real life experience, it means it is true, even if it is with just one person. But I believe there might be a lot of people who must have experienced it. That how inner peace and physical health are so related.
00:06:13 Dr. Noushin Hart: That's very true. And, you know, as a physician, I have I was trained, I remember the days that I would give presentations, and my presentation always started with a quote from Doctor Bernard Fisher who said, In God we trust, everybody else needs data. So if somebody wanted to claim that cap, Kundalini activation process or map make anything possible would heal your childhood trauma if they didn't have data. I'm like, okay, I'm not listening to you. Come back to me when you have data. But I was so miserable. I had failed every treatment. We are talking about only twenty, twenty six years ago that I didn't care when cap and map showed up in my Facebook from all all places in Facebook. I did not care that there was no data to support cap and map. I was willing to try anything because I literally could not sleep even half an hour a night. I was exhausted. And I'm so glad I tried them. And when I tried and to me, they seemed like a miracle. I'm like, I don't care if there's no data. I know they work and I know there are people now in that place I was six years ago, and that is why I went and got certification for these two modalities. I'm an oncologist, but I'm offering Kundalini activation process and make anything possible because I know it's work. It works. It worked for me and it works for my clients.
00:08:05 Nazish: Absolutely. You know, nothing can beat real life experiences. No data can beat it. And, you know. Yeah. Tension fatigue, tight breath, disturbed sleep. So quiet symptoms that are most people are taught to override.
00:08:22 Dr. Noushin Hart: Yes, yes. In fact, in a society like the United States, overworking and under sleeping is a virtue. Like people boast that, oh, I only sleep three hours a night and I work like seventy hours a week. Uh, that's that's like a virtue. People, people boast about it, which is, uh, it's like, that's a recipe for disaster. You need to sleep because all of the repair in your physical body is happening when you're having a deep sleep at night and there is no virtue in working seventy hours a week, that's just a life without absolute balance. And, um, we have through, um, all the toxic food and toxic air and toxic water, we have numbed our bodies, our bodies. We don't hear our bodies otherwise. Our bodies are constantly telling us what to eat, what not to eat, when to rest. We don't listen. And when you I have a new definition for healing. Uh, since I have been healed, I believe that the meaning of healing is, um, reconnecting with our bodies and reconnecting with our intuition. And when you do that, you don't need any external source to tell you what to eat, what to do. As people are so dependent on external sources and so many controversial ideas. Oh, sleep eight hours. No, six hours is enough. Eat this. Eat that. Take this supplement. When you reconnect with your body and your intuition, your body absolutely guides you. So, um, it's, uh, one of, I believe as a physician, I think one of the, uh, problems with Western medicine is dividing us as human beings into three parts like body, mind, spirit. We are just one system, and all these three are one. And each part of it, when it's out of balance, affects the other part. There are there's so much data for people who still want data from nineteen forties that shows the connection between body and mind. But pharmaceutical companies have black shelved them because it doesn't sell. Otherwise, there's a lot of connection between traumas, unhealed traumas and physical diseases.
00:11:20 Nazish: There is, there is. And, you know, there is something in what you just said that the body is not the problem. The body is the messenger. And most of us have been ignoring that message for so long that it has to start escalating.
00:11:36 Dr. Noushin Hart: Yes. Yeah. Doctor Gabor Maté, one of his many beautiful books. When the body says no. Like people when they get cancer. I'm an oncologist and say, fight with cancer. Know your body is sending you a message. Your body is telling you you are not paying attention to me. I have been whispering. Now I'm screaming You need to change something in your life because I can't handle it anymore. It's not a fight with your body. You just need to become still and listen to your body and do what your body asking you to do. It's just a lesson. It's just something that you need to learn from your body. There's no fight.
00:12:25 Nazish: There, isn't there? That's so true. So I, you, I also want to ask you, like, what have you witnessed in your work about the actual physical cost of carrying an unpeaceful inner life for over years? Like what begins to change when peace finally enters?
00:12:45 Dr. Noushin Hart: Everything changes. Everything changes from your heart. I can tell you that from your heart rate to your metabolism, from to your sleep, everything shifts. I am Entirely a different person from six years ago. Everything is different because just like I said, mind, body, spirit are one. So when you mentally are stressed out, you have panic attacks. You can't sleep. Your physical body is completely out of balance. Your heart rate is hard. You cannot breathe. Your breathing is superficial, so you're not getting enough oxygen. Your toxins are not being, uh, cleared from your body because all that repair that is supposed to happen at night when you're having a deep sleep is not happening. So you're full of toxins. All the injuries that our bodies are sustaining during the day, they are not being repaired. It's just the whole body is a mess. And when you get into a Peaceful state of mind. When you're calm, you're quiet, you're sleeping, your body starts functioning normally. You start repairing all the damage to your cells, to your DNA. All the toxins start going away. Uh, your eating habits change. Um, because when you are sleep deprived, you crave sugar, which is the worst thing that you can eat. And it becomes a complete cycle. You do things unconsciously that are bad for you, and everything you do makes things even worse. And when, uh, you get into a quiet, peaceful mind, your body is guiding you. It's telling you what to eat. And for the first time, you're hearing it and you're following it, and your intuition is guiding you, you're completely guided. Like two years ago, I became raw vegan. Not because anybody told me to become raw vegan. I just my body was telling me raw vegan. I'm like, okay. And people, my friends are like, oh my God, it's so hard. How did you become Robin? I thought this was the easiest transition I made, and I felt like I was a fish out of water and somebody dropped me in into a tank of water and I'm like, oh my God, I feel so good. So and I'm not saying everybody should become raw vegan. I'm saying that just listen to your body when you connect to your body, but when you're not, when we don't have peace of mind, we don't hear it. We don't hear our body, we don't hear our intuition. And because of that become, we become increasingly dependent on outer sources. We ask other people, we look at, you know, nothing wrong with podcasts, but, you know, we're always searching for answers outside of ourselves. And those answers might be good for somebody else, but they're usually not good for us.
00:16:16 Nazish: Absolutely. That is that is so true. And, you know, because the physical cost of inner rest is real, it is rarely accounted for in a in a standard understanding of well-being. And the good news is that the equation works the other way around too.
00:16:34 Dr. Noushin Hart: Absolutely, absolutely. It's just as I said, it's a it's a system that because mind, spirit and body are one system. Any change, uh, that is making you are making or is made in any of this component makes positive changes in the others. Uh, it's just a, it's a system. Like, you know, if you change the temperature in your house without whether you want it or not, it's going to affect the humidity of your house. It's going to affect a lot of other factors in your house. So, um, just with one change in your house, say, you know, the number of hours you sleep is going to change a whole lot of things in your body, in your mind and in your spirit.
00:17:38 Nazish: Yeah. That, that is, that is very true. So, you know, I want to close on the long arc because I think becoming healthier from inside is not a weakened cleanse like it is a year long, gentle, often invisible practice of returning to peace again and again while body slowly catches up. So tell me, how do you help people sustain this work over time? Like without burning out, without losing hope on the other slow days?
00:18:09 Dr. Noushin Hart: Um, you know, I, um, at age sixty five, uh, in a society that lacks balance, uh, my, uh, emphasis for everybody is finding balance in their life. Um, and, uh, for everybody that might mean something different. Um, but, um, the way I approach it, uh, by offering the modalities that I offer that are Kundalini activation process and make anything possible, uh, with make anything possible. My focus is on addressing childhood traumas and adulthood traumas because they are not addressed. And as long as they're not addressed, uh, they're unconsciously running our lives. And with the patterns that we are unconscious of, we make bad decisions and we recreate those traumas in our lives over and over again. And also unaddressed traumas make us physically sick. Uh, so there are plenty of data showing that, on average, unhealed traumas are the underlying cause of many serious chronic illnesses that Western medicine doesn't have any treatment for. Uh, so, um, physically, emotionally, spiritually, these unaddressed traumas need to be addressed. So that's why I really, uh, became a coach for Map and I offer it with Kap Kundalini activation process. What it does really is raises your vibration. We have to know that we are all energy. Doesn't matter whether you're a tree or an animal, or a building or a human being. We are all different forms of energy and as different forms of energy, we all have certain vibration and it's all about vibration. Health and disease. The difference between health and disease is that disease is a very low vibration state and health is a very high vibration state. The difference between depression and being happy is that depression is a very low vibration state, and joy is a very high vibration state. So if you can shift your low vibrations to a high vibration. That is when spontaneous healing happens, because the person who had the disease was in a low state of vibration. When you shift from that low state vibration, low vibration state to a high vibration state, you are not that person anymore. So you don't have that disease. That is how spontaneous healing happens. So when I offer Kundalini activation process, I am raising vibration of my clients and I see with my own eyes how their physical, mental, and spiritual health improves without them doing anything. Um, and that's just beautiful. And, uh, I know that by raising my own vibration and by raising vibration, my clients, I am raising vibration of the earth. Everything that we are seeing, the chaos, the wars, these are all low vibration states and going on the street and like, you know, uh, yelling, you know, for peace is not the solution. You need to raise your vibration. And by raising your own vibration and making the change that you want to happen on the earth, you gradually raise the vibration of the earth and you shift, uh, the vibration of the earth. That's my message for my clients.
00:22:47 Nazish: Absolutely. Thank you so much for sharing that with us. And you know, Doctor Hart, this has been such a beautiful conversation with you. So I want to ask you, where can the listeners find you and learn more about your work you do in integrative health and wellbeing.
00:23:04 Dr. Noushin Hart: I have two websites. One of my websites is called Healing by Heart and Heart. Part of it is spelled h a r t rather than h e a r t because of my married name H a r t. So healing by heart. And that is where they can find my map and cap and anything that is not oncology. And then I have another website called Heart to Heart Cancer Consultants, which is, uh, letter H, number two, letter H, letter C, letter C dot com. That is where my oncology is. That is where I do second opinions about anything cancer related.
00:23:58 Nazish: Wonderful. I will make sure to include these details into the show notes. Thank you so much, Doctor Hart. I believe this. Yeah. This is the kind of conversation is better health was built for. And to whoever is listening right now, especially the one who has been quietly carrying stress that is showing up in their body. I want to leave you with this. Peace inside is not a luxury. It is a medicine. Every small, honest act of bringing peace into your inner life creates a little more space for your body to be. You are not failing. You are not behind. You are simply being invited to come home to yourself. So keep returning. Keep coming home and I will see you in the next episode.
