The book vividly describes the seismic events happening alongside the eruption. For instance, there's a passage that says, but in brief moments, the ground trembled beneath their feet in unknown and secret sinister vibrations.

Some columns fell heavily to the ground, while numerous statues rolled from their improvised niches, adorned with gold and gemstones. This imagery of collapsing structures and falling statues correlates remarkably with the archaeological findings.

Skeletons with multiple bone fractures have been discovered, indicating deaths caused by, you guessed it, structural collapses during the earthquake. It's like the book predicted the archaeological discoveries.

It really gives you chills, Art, to see how these two seemingly disparate fields, archaeology and spiritual literature, are converging to tell a more complete story of this historical event.
