Thuy is a Vietnam war refugee and has an amazing story to tell. Her book, Last Surviving Child, is a memoir about her experiences.

This conversation with Thuy was so touching and so inspiring that it was really difficult to edit out the parts that took us past our 30-minute slot on WEHC. So this version is a bit extended...and includes some great moments about her family and her projects that we had to edit for the on-air version.
