“Mothering is available to all women whether you decide to mother a child or not. We mother our careers, our relationships, ideas, and dreams. We often discover the most overlooked person that needs mothering is ourselves.” - Gertrude Lyons
No matter if you’re a stay-at-home mom or a working mom, mothering is one of the hardest jobs a person can sign up for. Many moms feel guilty about their choices, especially when they are trying to make their dreams come true at the same time.
Rock Your Joy is coming full circle today and revisiting one of our first guests, Gertrude Lyons. Gertrude returns to talk about her research into the transformational opportunity of mothering, divine feminine energy, and how it is possible to merge your dreams with that of creating strong family bonds.
A crucial part of this conversation is that you don’t have to be a mom yet to take part. Tune in!

Where to find and work with Gertrude Lyons:
Gertrude Lyons’ coaching journey began nearly 30 years ago when she and her husband decided to work with a couples coach at the Wright Foundation. It was through these sessions that she began to realize the powerful effects of coaching and decided to become a coach herself.
During her doctoral studies at Wright University, she took a deep dive into the idea of motherhood. The program and her studies deepened her relationship with her daughters, as well as her sense of self.
Gertrude’s goal is to help women reclaim their lives through mothering and create a safe space where women can express their dreams, fears, and truths around motherhood.
