Impact the Outcome – Daily Wisdom

Welcome to Wisdom-Trek with Gramps.  We are on Day 1853 of our trek, and it’s time to explore another nugget of wisdom, which includes an inspirational quote along with some wise words from Gramps for today’s trek. Wisdom is the final frontier in gaining true knowledge. So we are on a daily trek to create a legacy of wisdom, seek out discernment and insights, and boldly grow where few have chosen to grow before. Hello, my friend; this is Gramps. Thanks for coming along on today’s trek as we increase wisdom and create a living legacy. Proverbs 16:16 says, "How much better to get wisdom than gold, and sound judgment than silver!" If you apply the words you hear today, over time, it will help you become more healthy, wealthy, and wise as you continue your daily trek of life. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget. Today’s quote is from Zig Ziglar, and it is, "A team can be impacted at any stage by anyone who has a positive or negative influence on the outcome of the team’s goals."

Impact the Outcome

Whether it is a sports team, a business team, a church team, or a family team, one person can positively or negatively influence each of those teams. Therefore, the entire team must be unified and work for the same goals and outcomes. For example, growing up in an apple orchard, I know firsthand that a single apple that begins to rot can impact all of the apples surrounding it.  That is why it was essential to separate a rotting apple from the solid apples. Otherwise, the entire bag or basket of apples would be negatively impacted within time. So it is with teams; if there is one negative person, it will negatively impact the entire team. The converse is also true. If a team has experienced failure or disappointment, one positive member can assist in revitalizing the whole team. So the moral of this story is, be a good apple; you never know how your life will positively impact the entire team.   3 John 1:11 Dear friend, don’t let this bad example influence you.  Follow only what is good.  Remember that those who do good prove that they are God’s children, and those who do evil prove that they do not know God. As you ponder this nugget of wisdom for yourself, please encourage your friends and family to join us and then come along tomorrow for another day of our Wisdom-Trek, Creating a Legacy.
