Elzie talks to Jewel Love about the challenges black men face in Corporate America. They argued that it's important to level the playing field for them by not being hypercritical of their performance compared to White counterparts.

Jewel is dedicated to assisting Black men in achieving success in Corporate America. This includes giving them opportunities for promotions, raises, and seniority that they might not have had otherwise. Their services also include networking with recruiters and organizations looking for black men, as well as job leads and internal or promoted roles that are not advertised publicly. 00:20 - We focus specifically on Black men, so I can't necessarily speak for everybody because culturally that might be a little bit different for different communities and different demographics. So, we can get to the ways that it could and should possibly get done, but it comes down to promotions. It comes down to raises. That's what's going on in Corporate America. It's competitive and people are there to make money. I can say period for impact or like, in effect, or dramatic effect. But on one sense of the scale, it's period. That's why people are there. That's the game. That's why the corporation literally exists. Whatever they're selling is secondary. They're there to make a profit. Shareholders know it. Everybody knows it.
