Shownotes
Some losses and injustices cannot be fully repaired on this side of heaven. Consequences may come, money may be paid, and decisions may be made, but none of those things can completely undo the harm.
I am facing a situation where I believe I am right and where I am hoping for justice. But I am also realizing that being right does not guarantee that everything will be restored in the way I want.
We can still pursue what is right and do our part to maintain justice. At the same time, we have to place the final outcome in God’s hands. His justice is perfect, even when the justice we experience here feels incomplete.
Scripture (ESV):
Micah 6:8: “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”
Reflection Questions:
- Am I carrying a situation that feels unfair or unresolved?
- What part of this situation is mine to handle faithfully?
- Can I trust God with the justice that remains outside my control?
