On this week's episode of The Rural Woman Podcast™, you'll meet Liane Reeves.
Liane is a former city person who moved from Ontario to the most rural part of Nova Scotia to start homesteading on an old Christmas Tree Farm.
Liane, along with her husband Chris, arrived in September 2020, having bought their property sight unseen to find it overgrown, abandoned and derelict. With a lot of hard work, learning from mistakes and YouTube, they have made a solid start to turning this place into a working homestead.
Liane shares with us how they, along with their community, came together during Hurricane Fiona to support one another and begin the process of rebuilding.
