Story: In 1990, friends Braling and Smith are conversing abou how they'd like some time away from their clingy wives. Braling reveals that he's been using a robot duplicate of himself, "Braling Two," to achieve his 'me' time. Only to learn Brailing Two might be too popular with his wife.

The short story was originally published in Startling Stories (March 1949) and later reprinted in his collection of short stories The Illustrated Man.
