Speaker:

Can you live without a judgment? No,

Speaker:

you're going to have

judgments in your life.

Speaker:

I don't think you're going to go a day

without a judgment. The question is,

Speaker:

what do you do when you

find yourself in judgment?

Speaker:

And this is an interesting

thing because as you go along,

Speaker:

all of the experiences that

you've accumulated in your life,

Speaker:

which is your amygdala has assigned

a valency to, positive or negative,

Speaker:

supportive or challenging, ,

you stored in your hippocampus,

Speaker:

the subconscious mind, you

might say, storage. And,

Speaker:

you now have this

Speaker:

memory of what happened in the past that

you're now associating with what you're

Speaker:

experiencing in the present.

Speaker:

And so when you have present reception

of information through your senses,

Speaker:

you're taking that,

Speaker:

attaching it to your memory and making

associations with it and associating,

Speaker:

you know, do I seek it or do I avoid it?

Speaker:

Or do I just remain present with it?

Speaker:

If I'm seeing that it has way

more positives than negatives,

Speaker:

in my perception,

Speaker:

then I'll probably seek it and look for

it and try to bring it into my life.

Speaker:

If I perceive it has more

drawbacks and negatives,

Speaker:

then I'll probably withdraw from it

and try to keep it out of my life.

Speaker:

And so you're going to be

making judgments all day long,

Speaker:

with the associations you've made.

Speaker:

But if you transcend that label,

Speaker:

that judgment, that valency, the positive

and negative labels you've given it,

Speaker:

and see it simultaneously positive and

negative, the, it's, in other words,

Speaker:

it's neither positive or negative, instead

of it's either positive or negative.

Speaker:

And you see both sides of it

simultaneously, in that moment,

Speaker:

you transcend the judgment.

Speaker:

You activate your medial prefrontal

cortex and you spontaneously act,

Speaker:

not as a reaction to something to

seek or avoid from your amygdala,

Speaker:

but, something to act

upon, an act of love,

Speaker:

an act of inspiration, a spontaneous act,

Speaker:

instead of an evoked reaction.

Speaker:

They call it spontaneous potentials in

the brain instead of evoked potentials in

Speaker:

the brain. Here, you

have a moment of grace,

Speaker:

a moment of love, a moment of

inspiration, moment of enthusiasm,

Speaker:

a moment of certainty, because

there's no wavering. 'Cause See,

Speaker:

when you're seeking something

and it's positively valent,

Speaker:

you're blind to the downsides.

Speaker:

When you're avoiding something

and you perceive it as negative,

Speaker:

you're blind to the upsides. When

you see both sides simultaneously,

Speaker:

you're not blind. You're aware, fully

aware, you're awake, you're enlightened.

Speaker:

You're not asleep.

Speaker:

You're not in the dark with missing

information or the unconscious.

Speaker:

When you do, you have the

capacity to be present.

Speaker:

You're not trying to avoid

Speaker:

something and get a better thing in the

future and avoid something in a memory

Speaker:

that's past. Or you're not,

trying to seek something,

Speaker:

avoiding something in the past again

with something valent, positive.

Speaker:

You're just present. In that

moment, you're in a state

of grace. You're certain,

Speaker:

you're inspired, as I've

said, and in that process,

Speaker:

you've transcended judgment.

You can have a moment of that.

Speaker:

You'll get a tear of gratitude.

You'll have a moment of authenticity.

Speaker:

You'll be of the soul, the

state of unconditional love.

Speaker:

You won't be in the moment of

judgment and into this strife,

Speaker:

internal strife you have. In

that moment, there's no judgment.

Speaker:

You can have a moment of that.

But in that moment of gnosis,

Speaker:

that moment of knowledge,

epistemological awareness,

Speaker:

you might say, in that

moment, it's fleeting. It's

there. There's no time there.

Speaker:

It's not something that endures.

It's just something that's a moment.

Speaker:

In that moment, you have an aha, a

eureka, a gamma synchronous in the brain,

Speaker:

authentic moment, a tear of gratitude,

Speaker:

because you see things

as they actually are,

Speaker:

not as you in your reality,

perceive them to be,

Speaker:

where you usually distort

things when you judge.

Speaker:

The amygdala is a desire center. It

desires to seek prey and avoid predator.

Speaker:

So it's noted for its judgments.

And if you're in a moment of grace,

Speaker:

a moment of presence,

Speaker:

where you have no desire to change you

relative to others or others relative to

Speaker:

you, where your human

will matches what is,

Speaker:

what some people in theology call divine

will, you're now in a state of grace.

Speaker:

And in that moment, you've

transcended it. But the moment you do,

Speaker:

you get automatically promoted to

the next illusion, the next mystery,

Speaker:

the next thing you don't

know where you judge again.

Speaker:

And then as you gain knowledge and learn

to ask questions and go through inquiry

Speaker:

and then you see both sides

simultaneously and you solve the

Speaker:

unknowns, the mysteries, like a

mathematical equation, you solve for X,

Speaker:

the missing information,

the unknown, the entropy.

Speaker:

you now get a negentropic awareness again,

Speaker:

and you're back into grace again.

Speaker:

And then you get promoted to the

next illusion. Whatever you know,

Speaker:

there's always something that you don't

know beyond it. And in that unknown,

Speaker:

there's an unconscious and then

there's a question and there's a,

Speaker:

a mystery to solve. And so you're

going to go back into judgment again.

Speaker:

And you're going to

have uncertainty again.

Speaker:

And then you're going to solve that

problem and you're going to solve the

Speaker:

equation, balance the equation,

see both sides simultaneous,

Speaker:

see that it's neither positive

or negative, get back into

the soul, if you will,

Speaker:

the state of unconditional love.

Speaker:

See the grace state and

transcend another judgment.

Speaker:

So you're not going to

get rid of judgment.

Speaker:

You're going to use judgment as a

feedback to let you know you have an

Speaker:

incomplete awareness and you're

trapped in a reality that's

Speaker:

skewed and distorted and generalized.

Speaker:

But you can use that as a tool to

learn to ask quality questions.

Speaker:

In my Breakthrough Experience program,

I present the Demartini Method,

Speaker:

which is a series of very precise

questions to help you become

Speaker:

fully conscious of when you're

unconscious and judging things,

Speaker:

on how to transcend that. But you're

not done. You got still more growth.

Speaker:

If you meet somebody who claims

to be all aware, all enlightened,

Speaker:

you know, they're not. They

only know what they know,

Speaker:

and they're only aware of what they're

aware of and what they've experienced in

Speaker:

life.

Speaker:

And to say that they're universally

aware would be an ego trip of

Speaker:

unbelievable magnitude.

Live with holy curiosity.

Speaker:

Tackle the next challenge,

problem, mystery.

Speaker:

Go allow yourself to go into the

unknowns, experience the judgment,

Speaker:

use the judgment as a feedback mechanism

to guide you to ask questions to solve

Speaker:

the mystery of the unknown,

the unconscious, and become

fully conscious again.

Speaker:

That's the journey. If not, we

stagnate, we stay stuck in a judgment,

Speaker:

and we continue to live

with holy curiosity and keep

growing if keep answering

Speaker:

the mysteries. Penetrating

new mysteries is fulfillment.

Speaker:

Staying stuck in a belief

system and holding on to a

Speaker:

valent perception, can

trap you and hold you back.

Speaker:

And that's why I'm a believer

that it's a scientific inquiry

Speaker:

to solve the next mystery and to

believe that there's some sort of a

Speaker:

hidden order in the chaos to keep you

on the journey, I think has merit.

Speaker:

So give yourself permission

to allow yourself to judge,

Speaker:

go to a moment of grace, see the

order, go to another disorder,

Speaker:

see the grace, and just keep going.

Keep living and keep fulfilling,

Speaker:

and penetrate ever greater mysteries.
