Sometimes pancreatic cancer cases can run in families. Although this is rare there can be a set of genetic conditions which are linked to a higher risk of the disease.

Researchers based in Liverpool are hoping to learn more about this and help identify people at a higher risk of pancreatic cancer.

And in today's episode you'll hear from two of the team from The European Registry of Hereditary Pancreatitis and Familial Pancreatic Cancer - which is more commonly known as EUROPAC - as they explain what they do, why they do it and how you might be able to get involved too.
