David:

In 30 days, I figured out what dozens of doctors, functional medicine experts, and specialists couldn't solve in over a decade. I used AI not just to understand my symptoms, but to decode my genetics, analyze years of lab results, and uncover the root causes of my chronic health challenges. Everything from heart palpitations to brain fog to nerve pain and burnout. And if you or someone you love is suffering and feels like no one has the answers, this episode could literally change everything. Because what I've discovered is that healing isn't just possible, it's fascinating. Faster, easier, and cheaper than ever before. AI is literally going to allow you to reclaim control over your health and achieve a level of wellness that you could never possibly imagine. Welcome to a Changed Mind. A journey into the topics that matter to you most. If you've been desiring a sanctuary for your spirit, a place to go to tune out the distraction, negativity, and doom and gloom so that you can tap into the deep power, the vibrancy, and the potential you have inside, you're in the right place. Welcome to a Changed Mind.

Hey, it's David. Welcome to a Changed Mind. A sanctuary for your spirit. A place where each and every episode, I remind you of the certainty of the goodness of the future. I'm your friend, your host, your guide, David Bayer. I had a private client recently reach out to me saying her daughter was experiencing chronic health challenges and she didn't know what to do. And I said, well, I can tell you exactly what to do. And I sent her a five minute voice memo talking about how I used AI to get absolutely clear on what my health challenges were and start working towards renewed wellness. And she said, you know, you shared with me more in five minutes than what I've learned over the last five years, going from specialist to specialist to specialist. And if you know my story, I've shared on other episodes that I've been challenged over the last decade with a myriad of symptoms.

sh diet that I was on back in:

Because all of these practitioners had different opinions. What I realize is they have a lens of their specialty, and it's usually something that they overcame, like they had mercury toxicity, they had mold issues, they had methylation issues or some other challenge, fibromyalgia or Lyme disease. But they look at the entire world through that lens. And so it got to a point where I was feeling really, really hopeless for a while. And then one day I decided, you know what? I think I can figure this out. I think I can figure this out on my own because I have a new best friend. This is the Summer of Chat GPT. I have access to infinite intelligence. And so I want to share with you this process I went through, it's about a five or six step process where now I'm absolutely clear on what's going on in my body and I have a clear productive action plan for restoring myself to wellness.

And I'm actually already feeling way better than I was even 30 days ago. So the first thing I did was I went into ChatGPT and I explained my symptoms and I told my story. I said, these are my symptoms, this is my story, these are the doctors I've seen, this is what they've said, but this is still how I feel. And chatgpt said, well, it would be great if you have your genetics. Have you done your 23andMe? There's other sites out there now called like self decode, where they send you a kit, you spit in the tube, you send it back and it gives you your genome, it gives you your unique genetic layout because in your genetics are predispositions. And what I mean by that is, and this is the study of epigenetics, the code, your genetic code informs how you're likely to function and, and in particular how you will function when under duress or stress. And so, for example, your genetics determine what color your eyes are. Your genetics determine, fun fact, whether when you eat asparagus and you urinate, it smells. Another set of genes determine whether you can actually smell this, the sulfuric smell of asparagus driven urine. All these really kind of less important things, but also very important things. Like I happen to have a genetic predisposition to hold iron. Too much iron in the system can create breakdown at a cellular level. And so it's important for me to monitor my iron. Now. There have been periods in my life where I wasn't holding iron because I was more relaxed, I had less toxicity on my system, maybe I was working out more or I was eating cleaner. But when my body is under stress, it tends to express some of these what are called polymorphisms or dirty genes. So everybody has them. And sometimes these genes create detoxification pathway issues. Sometimes these genes create a predispos to being sensitive to electromagnetic frequencies. Sometimes these genes create a lack of metabolism of certain things that when they accumulate in your body could be harmful. So chatgpt said, hey, do you have your genetics? I said, yeah, I do. So I said, great, upload the zip file and we'll start taking a look at what your predispositions are. And so it did. And it came back with an analysis. By the way, this was an analysis that years ago I paid several thousand dollars to be done to a practitioner. But now ChatGPT can do it literally in seconds for. And I actually saw that the analysis it did was much more comprehensive than the practitioner I worked with, because instantaneously, it's cross referencing all of my genes, and it's looking at gene clusters and predispositions, the fact that perhaps I might be more likely to be sensitive to lactose or I might be have some intolerance to gluten. And so all of these things came out in its analysis.

And then it said, hey, and this sort of maps to some of your symptomatology. And it said, what I recommend that made lab recommendations. It said, I recommend that you go run these labs. Said, number one, let's take a look at your cellular absorption, because your genetics indicate that sometimes you might have some challenges absorbing certain vitamins and minerals, in particularly B vitamins, which are very, very important in many of the pathways and systems that work in your body. And so let's take a look at how your cells are absorbing. Go get a micronutrients test. That was number one. Number two, here's a bunch of standard blood tests, but comprehensive, that you should run. You can go to Quest or LabCorp or any lab down the street, have a practitioner and I have a lot of friends who are practitioners, write you the script, and go in and get this blood work done. Let's take a look at your iron. What are your iron levels at? Let's take a look at some of the other markers that could be related to the symptoms that you're experiencing, and also could check to see whether or not you're epigenetically expressing some of these genes that could produce undesired symptoms in the body.

Number three, it said, go run an organic acids test because your genes say that you have a tendency to not metabolize something called oxalates. It's in a lot of different foods, like spinach and nuts and almonds, and you can have oxalate accumulation in your body. They're kind of like small crystals that can accumulate in the tissues of your body and in your organs. That might be why you're having a lot of physical muscle pain or fascial pain. And there were a variety of other things that it said we should take a look at your organic acids test to evaluate. One of the really cool things was that a practitioner that I worked with years ago who sort of believed that everybody has sulfur sensitivity convinced me that eating sulfur could cause a problem in my body. And what's interesting about your beliefs is that whether or not I'm sulfur sensitive, if I believe I am, then I'm likely to inform my body to not process sulfur effectively. That's how powerful the mind is. It's called the placebo effect. But they did a study in Finland about 10 years ago where they brought in people who had shoulder tears. They repaired half of the shoulder tears and they didn't repair the other half, even though the people thought they went under surgery and had a shoulder repair. And the outcomes were the same. That's how powerful the mind is. And so Chat GPT said, we'll also be able to rule out some things so that you can relax. So that was the third thing, right, Was more my organic acids test. The next one was mold. Let's see if you have mold on your system. That was the fourth. Fifth was metals and mercury. Let's see if you've got any of that in your system. Six, let's look at your methylation and detox pathways. Seven, let's look at your gut. So let's do a GI map.

Eight, let's look at if you have any food sensitivities or allergies, let's run an MRT test. And nine, let's run a Dutch hormone test so that we can see how your hormones function. Because I have some sleep issues. Let's see if your cortisol levels are normal. Let's see if some of the challenges you're having are due to hormone imbalances. Now, this may sound like a lot of testing, but my practitioner ordered them. They showed up at my house, they cost me less than $3,000 to run all these tests. So $3,000 to run all THESE tests. Put Chat GPT, which is free, which by the way, is a small fraction of the tens, if not hundreds of thousands of dollars that I've spent on practitioners over the last decade and the cabinets full of supplements that I have based on all their recommendations. So I ran all these tests, got them all back in about three weeks and uploaded em all to ChatGPT. And ChatGPT analyzed the results and said, hey, it's really, really clear based on the results, you're having some detoxification, methylation challenges. And that makes perfect sense based on your genetics, but it also makes perfect sense because your methylation is driven predominantly by B vitamins and folate. And we can look at your micronutrient test and see that your cells aren't absorbing enough.

So you need to increase your B vitamins and your folate and let's make it the methylated form because that's what your body needs. Another thing it indicated was, hey, you have fat metabolism issues. It looks like you're building up biofilm, which is driven by unmetabolized fat in your body and that can allow microorganisms like viruses and bacteria and parasites to accumulate. And it said, well, that makes perfect sense based on your health history because when you were 17, you had your gallbladder removed. You need to get some fat metabolism support. So take a daily fat metabolism support. Next thing it said was, hey, your iron levels were high. That's going to create stress on your cells and on your system. That could lead to the types of things you're experiencing, like brain fog. Let's go have you give blood. Go give blood. And here's your schedule. We're going to retest four weeks after you give blood. And if we need to, you'll give blood again six months later because that's about the frequency of it. It said, hey, guess what? You have high oxalates, so you're on the very high range of oxalates. So you need to stop eating almonds and spinach and some of these other unfortunately dark chocolate high oxalate foods so we can rebalance your oxalates because that be could be causing a lot of the pain in your body. That could be mimicking is what practitioners have said in the past of something like fibromyalgia, which is just a name that doctors are giving something that they don't really understand, which is a symptom set based on these root causes.

And oh, by the way, do you want me to recommend how you can start detoxing oxalates from your system? Yes, I do. Said, hey, you've got low mitochondria function, so there's specific supplementation that we can turn the batteries of your cells back on. And you've got low dopamine levels. No wonder you haven't been feeling particularly joyful. And you've been feeling more sluggish and having some brain fog. There's nothing wrong with me. I just have low dopamine levels and that can be corrected. And then it gave me all the good news. Hey, good news is your cortisol pattern is perfect. You've got no issues with your cortisol, no other issues with your hormones. You've got great standard lab metrics. You have no sulfur sensitivity, so don't worry about eating those foods. You have no H. Pylori.

That's not the issue going on with your Gut. And then I got my MRT test back, which was my food allergy test. And for the last 30 days, I've eliminated anything that was moderate to high inflammatory reaction. Like, I didn't know, have an inflammatory reaction to apples, I have an inflammatory reaction to egg whites, I have an inflammatory reaction to garlic. And that doesn't mean that I have to leave these things out of my diet forever. But once my system is supported and my inflammation has gone down, then I can start to reintroduce some of these things. And then it said, hey, do you want supplementation recommendations in order to support what we're seeing in your labs and the correlations that we're making with your genetics? So it was a full scope picture. And I said, yeah, let's make some recommendations. And I said, oh, by the way, I already have this custom supplementation with tons of stuff in it that I got from the doctor that ran my micronutrient test. And it said, well, upload it and I'll tell you what's in it and I'll tell you what works for you and what doesn't. I uploaded it, it said, hey, this is 80% of what you need. Your doctor was spot on in making this recommendation based off of your micronutrient test. But here's what's missing and these are the dosages. You should incorporate it. And so it was really incredible. And then it built me a three phase wellness and longevity program for the next 12 months. Phase one is restoration. So let's increase my methylation and my detox pathways, reduce my iron, support my gut, and specific supplementation to support any other deficiencies that we saw. And it said, because if you start moving into detoxing, some of the things that we found before the pathways are supported, you can start feeling even worse. So phase two was mitochondrial restoration and detoxification. So I said, let's get a little bit of the mold that we found on your system out. Let's get a little bit of the parasites that we found on your system out. My metals and mercury already looked pretty good. There are things you can do to support mitochondrial reboot like NAD plus IVs. Here's a local place where you can go get it. This is the regimen that I recommend. Four sessions over one month, 500, whatever it is, milligrams per session. And here's phase three months, six through 12. Let's go get you stem cells, specific workout regimens, daily routines, advanced rejuvenation peptides, fasting. And so this was such a Game changer for me because now all of a sudden I understood what was going on with my body. And my body was no longer an enemy because my own experience was I felt trapped in my body. I had developed an adversarial relationship with my body. I had asked ChatGPT, I said, I don't understand why I'm having this gut inflammation. Like, it's so intense. It's like a level 9 pain. This is something that started about a month or two ago after my big event. And I said, how do I go from no gastrointestinal discomfort at all to really intense gastritis and what felt like heartburn all day long? And it explained it to me. It said, well, the stomach is designed to reduce signals. Cause there's so much activity that takes place down there. You don't want to overreact when you have a spicy meal. And so it's a downregulated signal environment. But what happens is by the time you get signals, it's something serious. And in, in this case for you, because you drink so much coffee and you have so much acidic food and you eat so much chocolate and you eat large meals, which I told ChatGPT, Look, I can't help you with that. I'm 6 7, like 220 pounds. I mean, since I started treating my gastritis and eating smaller meals, I've lost 13 pounds already. Now I'm a shredded beast. That's the upside. Thank you. Gastritis. But it said, look, by the time you actually feel something, it means it's because nerves are exposed in your stomach. That's an incredibly acidic environment.

So now you've got this sensitivity in an acidic environment and it's really painful and it's slow to heal, but there's nothing wrong with you. And as long as you support the recovery of your stomach, here's the game plan. In four to six weeks, you'll start feeling much, much better. I'm two and a half weeks in and I would say it feels 90% better. But here's what's awesome about it. Because of the health journey that I was on, I always had, as I mentioned, this adversarial relationship with my body. Like, God, my body's betraying me. But now that I see what's going on, I'm like, oh, poor stomach. Like, that sucks. I'm sorry that I wasn't respectful of you and that I was pounding three or four coffees a day because I love coffee. It's my love language because I was eating bars of Chocolate every night after dinner, thinking that it was healthy cacao chocolate. But it's pretty acidic by the way. It's super high in oxalates as well. And so now I'm like, I'm taking pride in the fact that even though coffee is my love language, I'm being disciplined about it because I love my stomach, I care about my stomach. I mean, I think about like, my gosh, what my stomach does for me. Without my stomach, there ain't no David.

And so now I have this greater respect and awareness for what my gastrointestinal system needs. And I'm being disciplined in the meeting of those needs. And that feels really good. Like, it feels like I'm helping a friend. And this actually is one of the biggest takeaways from all this is I'm learning to have a loving relationship with my body, right? That's like a rewriting of my core trauma, that there's like something wrong with me and there's something wrong with my body. And so I do believe in the certainty of the goodness of the future. I do believe that life is always working for our greatest growth, our greatest prosperity and our greatest evolution. And I believe that our body is signaling things to us that we're not broken. There's nothing to fix. There's signals. But I wasn't able to understand the language. But thanks to AI and the optics it gave me, through this process, I understand the language of my body. It's like I now have a translator that can help me understand how to support my body so that it can continue to support me. So I'm super excited. I've never felt more confident around my health. I have a plan. I understand why what's going on is going on. And it happened in 30 days. Literally in 30 days. AI did what 10 years of experts couldn't.

No matter how good and well meaning they were. It gave me my clarity back. But more than that, it gave me back my power. And healing is not about outsourcing your truth to somebody else. It's about integrating it. And your body already knows what it needs. This is what I've learned from this process. And sometimes it just takes the right questions and the right common language to finally hear the answer. So I hope this episode was helpful for you.
