Another huge guest lined up this week as we welcome a stalwart of the Sydney comedy scene, Tom Witcombe. To kick us off this week, Rohit spends the first 10 minutes of the episode slandering his parents for no apparent reason. He then spends the next 10 minutes explaining his new get rich quick scheme, whilst arguing that it isn’t technically fraud.
We then reached around our guest Tom Witcombe. As usual to begin, Tom recounts a rare moment from his past, before we launch into tales of his early comedy career, including a national final. We also talk about his fighting expertise, his podcasting, as well as other random topics.
“Compare and Contrast” is back this week, where we debate and rank various people/places/things, this week we rank Australia’s greatest menaces to society. From egg boy to Ivan Milat, we cover rogue Australians from every generation and by varying degrees of rogueness.
Also this week: Jimmy Choo Urban Hero, women’s sports, democracy manifest and Clive Palmer.
Segments this week:
The Logue: Tired of reaching around each other (at least on the podcast), the boys have instead decided to reach around the week’s news stories, events and viral trends.
The Reach-Around: To show gratitude and respect to our guest, and like all good hosts should do, the boys get around the guest in the most homoerotic segment in podcasting.
Compare and Contrast: Named in honour of our favourite HSC English essay questions, the boys debate the most pressing issues in society and attempt to agree on a ranked tier list, which may end up in broken friendships and definitely will end up being wrong.
