Shownotes
Nicole was surprised by how different therapy is after licensure when compared to her coursework.
Here she talked with Miranda about starting her practice and the variety of work she's completed in the field. Nicole began to feel overworked as she grew her practice while working an agency position and writing on the side. As an outlet, she began her Instagram page. Gaining over 120,000 followers, she felt a sense of community within the shared pain and humor.
Nicole also wrote and published a book about her experiences in the field. She opens up about the process and unexpected surprises of self-publishing.
