Misogyny is intense dislike, contempt for or ingrained prejudice against women or females, whilst sexism is prejudice, stereotyping or discrimination against women, on the basis of their sex. It is an offensive reminder of the way the culture sees women. Unfortunately, this is what most women have to deal with most times.
