Shownotes

On this week’s episode of The Rural Woman Podcast, you’ll meet Rachel Jarman. In 2017 Rachel and her husband started their own mixed operation, Bank Barn Meats, where they now direct market hand raised pork, chicken, lamb and beef.

May of 2019 . As a Rural Rehabilitation Coordinator her job is to  help  farmers, ranchers, and other agricultural workers find equipment and technologies that make their work on their operation easier. That can range from upgrading steps or a seat on the tractor all the way to adding a lift to a tractor or truck so even a farmer with paralysis or loss of use of limbs can still access and operate equipment. Rachel says getting the opportunity to see these individuals get their independence back is the most rewarding job she could ever ask for.
