GINGER SNAPS captures that sweet spot between the angst of the late 90's and the nihilism of the early 2000's as it follows death-obsessed sisters Ginger and Brigitte. While planning their grand exit from their small town, Ginger gets "the curse" and then attacked by a mysterious beast. Now, the girls have to figure out if Ginger is experiencing the pains of puberty or if she's changing into something even more terrifying.
