Greetings World

Today, i spoke to the incredibly brave Rehana Obaray, a self-published author from Cape Town. Our conversation was nothing short of eye-opening and inspiring as Rehana shared with me her personal journey of overcoming trauma and gender-based violence in her life. Through her words, I was able to understand the depth of pain and struggle she had to endure growing up, and how she found solace in writing. Her first book, titled 'Unbottling God', is a raw and honest autobiography that delves into the complexities of her experiences and how she was able to find healing and inner strength through her faith. But Rehana's talents do not end there. She recently released her second book, 'Mommy Why Did You Throw Me Away', which is a poignant and heart-wrenching autobiography about someone else. Through her writing, Rehana sheds light on the harsh realities of abandonment and the impact it has on a person's life. Both of her works hold such deep meaning and offer important insight into the human experience. Rehana's courage to share her story and the story of others through her writing is truly commendable.
