Shownotes
Artificial intelligence can diagnose diseases, manage space missions, and tackle problems most of us cannot begin to understand. But ask it to read an analog clock with Roman numerals, and some of the world’s most advanced systems suddenly struggle.
The surprising part is that plenty of people struggle with the same task. As technology becomes more capable, are we becoming wiser alongside it, or are we quietly losing basic skills we assumed would always be there?
Scripture (ESV): 1 Corinthians 8:2 – “If anyone imagines that he knows something, he does not yet know as he ought to know.”
Reflection Questions:
What basic skills have you stopped using because technology handles them for you?
Does having access to more intelligence necessarily make us wiser?
