Well, Wednesday afternoon Hurricane Ian made landfall in Florida as a Category 4 storm. 

In this episode, I discuss my previous experience with hurricanes in Louisiana – Hurricane Katrina.  Relieve experience working on capitol hill post-Katrina.  I discuss the process of providing appropriations for natural disasters.
