Shownotes

(MUSIC VIDEO DEBUT!!!) In this episode host, Sean Clark welcomes his band The Pine Box Dwellers on to the show. Jesse Herrin is the band's bass player and son of Billy Ray Herrin, who was our guest back on Ep. 5. Connor Griffin is the Cajon player, the pine box from which the name hails. He is also son to host, Dave Griffin. This one is a stroll down Waycross music's memory lane. The guys talk about their individual paths into music as well as how they came together as a band. Dave pieces together a timeline of the how, what and when things happened that led to the band's current incarnation. They debut a brand new music video for their latest release of "Sin City", a cover of Gram Parsons' and Chris Hillman's Flying Burrito Brothers tune. They also pick us a few original tunes live and talk about how they were written. Uncle Dave takes us out with a deeply personal Tail of The Weak, written expressly about The Pine Box Dwellers themselves.
