This is Guthrie Chamberlain, Your Guide to Wisdom

Christian Enthusiasm – Daily Wisdom

Welcome to Wisdom-Trek. Wisdom is the final frontier in gaining true knowledge. We are on a daily trek to create a legacy of wisdom, seek out discernment and insights, and boldly grow where few have chosen to grow before. Hello, my friend; this is Gramps. Thanks for coming along on today’s trek as we increase Wisdom and Create a Living Legacy. Proverbs 16:16 How much better to get wisdom than gold, and sound judgment than silver!  We are on Day 1656 of our Trek, and it’s time to explore another nugget of wisdom, which includes an inspirational quote along with some wise words from Gramps for today’s trek. If you apply the words you hear today, over time, it will help you become more healthy, wealthy, and wise as you continue your daily trek of life. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget:

Today’s quote is from Croft M. Pentz, and it is: A Christian will not amount to much unless there is enthusiasm in his Christianity.

Christian Enthusiasm

We can become enthusiastic about many things and events in life. What about your life as a disciple of Christ? Are you passionate about being a citizen of God’s Kingdom? If we want to impact the lives of others for the cause of Christ, then we need to show a little enthusiasm. I do not have, by nature, an overall bubbly personality. I am somewhat reserved, but that does not equate to a lack of confidence and excitement in my daily trek of life. With a tremendous internal passion, I desire to see the kingdom of God advance throughout the world.  This inner drive and enthusiasm drives me on to produce this podcast five days a week. To publish encouraging scripture verses twice each day. To take on the additional responsibilities of speaking at our church regularly. It should be the same in your life. If you wish to be effective in your Christain walk, you need to be enthusiastic about your calling and destiny. Your walk does not have to be an exciting external show of enthusiasm, but it may be the gentle spirit of encouragement and kindness to others in which you wish to share God’s kingdom.

1 Corinthians 15:57-58

But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ. So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.

As you ponder this nugget of wisdom for yourself, please encourage your friends and family to join us and then come along tomorrow for another day of ‘Wisdom-Trek, Creating a Legacy.’
