Who is Sarah Taylor?
My journey into reflexology began through my husband. He suffers with IBS and working his feet would help ease his symptoms. I searched for a course that would teach me the basics of reflexology so that I could treat him and in 2008 I enrolled in an introductory course at a local college.
From the very first session, I was hooked. I was fascinated by what I learned—not just from the tutor, but from the feet I worked on. Amazed at how relaxed I felt receiving treatments from fellow students. I knew I had to go deeper, and went on to train as a professional reflexologist.
Reflexology is an incredible therapy that goes far beyond a simple foot "rub"—it works on both body and mind. There’s nothing more rewarding than hearing someone say, “I don’t think I’ve ever felt so relaxed in my life,” or that their pain and tension has eased.
Alongside working 1-to-1 with clients, I’m passionate about teaching others how to use reflexology on themselves—through the hands and face—so they can integrate it into everyday wellbeing practices. I’d love to see self-reflexology become as commonplace as yoga or meditation.
In the talk Sarah discusses:
