So let's talk a little bit about what to expect from the Write, edit and Publish podcast, so you'll get actionable advice and insider tips on writing, editing and publishing a nonfiction book. You'll get some interviews with industry experts. Most of this podcast will be solo episodes, however, I will have some episodes that are. I will have some episodes that I will bring in industry experts, such as other successful authors, some publishing professionals. I'll definitely be bringing in my voiceover artist, trenton Bennett, who had just recently did my book I published, which is called Sensible Senior Solutions. We'll be deep diving into specific topics like book marketing, working with ghost writers, what to expect when you work with a ghost writer's, cover design, formatting and other aspects of publishing and writing your book, including good writing habits. We'll also have a listener Q&A segment where I answer your burning questions about writing and publishing your book.

04:02

So if you have a question about writing or publishing a book, you can find out more or you can get that question answered. Or if you have a topic for a future episode of Write, edit and Publish that you'd like to see, please go to my ghostwriting website at wwwwriteforyoume that's W-R-I-T-E-W-F-O-R-Y-O-Ume, and hit me up on the contact form and then just tell them to say, hey, I have a question for your Q&A episode. Here's my question. And if you are a published author and you still have a question, that's perfectly fine. This isn't just for people who never have published their book before. It's for anybody that wants to publish a book but you don't. If you do write for a living, definitely check out the Profitable Writer Podcast. That's my friend Kent Sanders. He has a fabulous podcast for writers that I listen to because that is my profession. But if you're an industry expert and you just want to write maybe one, two or three books, but you're not writing for a living, this podcast is definitely for you. So if you have a question and you want to put it on the listener Q&A segment and you do have a book, hit me up on my contact form, wwwwriteforyoume, and I will put your question in a future episode. That's a Q&A episode and I'll answer your question and give you a shout out with your book. So definitely hit me up on my contact form. We'll also talk about on this podcast publishing trends and updates that are going to keep you informed about this ever-changing industry that is publishing.

Some benefits of listening to the show if you do listen to Write, edit and Publish and you hit that follow button, you'll definitely learn how to avoid some really costly mistakes a lot of first-time authors make. For example, one of my previous clients she used me for ghostwriting and she said she wanted to. She had me edit her book and then she was never really happy about it. So she hired four other editors to edit her book and then she one of the editors said they could format her book and they didn't do a good job formatting, so there was lots of issues with that. So, anyway, one of the benefits is you're going to learn how to avoid those costly mistakes. When you listen to write, edit and publish, you'll discover strategies that will save you lots of time and money throughout the publishing process, including my process on how to write a book. It really does save time and it really keeps you organized. You'll also gain confidence in your ability to write and publish a high quality book. You'll also get some insights from the owners of different types of publishing software that I'll have on the show, and you'll find out, learn about more. You know more insider information about the different some of your favorite publishing platforms and publishing software that you like to use. You'll understand why it's so important to market your book and how to effectively promote your book once you before you have it published, and you'll also learn how to get inspired. You'll also be inspired by success stories and real world examples from my guests who have been in your shoes.

07:20

All right, so we have some amazing and fun upcoming episodes for the Write, edit and Publish podcast. My next episode is going to be five big mistakes to avoid when publishing your book. We'll talk about book marketing 101, working with a ghostwriter, when you should work with them, how you should work with a ghostwriter, what to expect, insider secrets to phenomenal book cover design, and also we'll have another episode on book formatting essentials. And then we'll have a series on the 12 biggest fears people have when writing and publishing their book. There are so many fears people have that really prevent them and some people stop them from writing their book. I've had clients who have paid to have a book completely written and they're so scared to publish it that they never hit the publish button. So we'll talk about that as well to help you get past that fear. You don't need to be stuck in fear of publishing your book, all right.

08:15

So get ready to dive into the deep world of publishing and, with this incredible lineup of shows and some special guests who are passionate about books, just like I am, and are passionate about writing these, my guests and myself are also very knowledgeable about writing and as well as passionate and experienced, so you'll get some really great advice and tips in this podcast. In each episode, you'll have either myself giving you some great information or an industry superstar, and they're going to share their expertise and insider information that's going to help you navigate this publishing journey like a pro. All right. So you'll also learn the art of storytelling. You'll find out again about having that best-selling book cover, but we also will have some publicists on here, too, as guests, and we'll talk about marketing. You'll learn how to skyrocket your sales, reach more readers and, if you're thinking about audiobooks, we'll also have audiobook professionals on. We will definitely be having my audiobook professional voiceover artist, trent Bennett. He is a SAG-AFTTA member, which is a professional. If you don't know what that is, that is a professional guild for Screen Actors Guild and he is a member of that guild and is an amazing voiceover artist. So I'm going to have him on for a couple different episodes to talk about audiobooks. So it doesn't matter if you're a first-time author or if you've published a couple books.
