Quote

  • "When you're trying to find leaders in your program, it's not: Here's a game plan. Here's how you become a leader. Now, sure, we've all seen it in business and athletics. There are individuals that, over the course of time, evolve into leaders. But when you walk into your preseason open gyms and you're looking at leaders and you're trying to identify who the leaders are within your program, you're looking at people that are doing the tough, uncomfortable things.” -Kenton Aubrey [27:30]

  • “In business, my encouragement to the listener is if you can focus on twelve weeks at a time, what happens is it's called periodization. It's actually a cycling term, but if you focus on short cycle execution, which is my timeline of getting something done right, remember when you're in school and the teacher is like, hey, this is due at the end of the month, you probably even do this as a teacher, as a professor, hey, this is due at the end of the month.” -Brad Noll [23:29]
