Dr. Traci is a black, immigrant, queer single mother by choice, who came to the decision to parent alone after surviving an infertility diagnosis and pregnancy loss. She was born and raised in Trinidad & Tobago, where most of her family still lives. After moving to the United States for college and later, grad school, she’s made a life here as a psychologist who specializes in child, adolescent, and family psychology. Dr. Traci is passionate about mental health and access to care, particularly for minority and marginalized people. Dr. Traci hosts the podcast Healthy, Wealthy Roots - a show born from her life experiences that delves into finances, mental health and parenting. She is passionate about sharing what she’s learning with those who may not have had access to this information before. She believes our futures grow from healthy, wealthy roots.
