Brief summary of episode: Vanyel’s lack of a love life, lack of real friends, and approach on middle age and the big 40 would be the stuff of sitcoms in a better world, especially since his kid cousin is getting involved. Unfortunately, he’s the savior of the world, and that makes for more serious fodder than your average Cheers episode, but it means the cohosts can tease him for experiencing lesbian bed death without ever managing to be a lesbian.
