Every character thought they were missing pieces of themselves. The Wicked Witch of the West is the black wolf — the opposition. The nemesis in every hero's journey. Without her pushing them there is no evolution. No movement. No reason to follow the road. And what is the yellow brick road? Everyone said just follow it and you'll get to the wizard. But here's the thing — you've been programmed. Other people's ideas. Other people's thoughts. Other people's goals. Other people's insecurities and failures loaded into you like software. As you grew up everyone was giving you advice — go to this school, do this, be that. And because you respected these people you took it as truth. The yellow brick road is the path someone else laid out for you. Know thyself. Balance your energy.
