I think of all the times that we feel like we don't have enough strength, or we don't have enough might, or we don't have enough faith, but then the Lord says to just draw on Him. He'll give us what we need. We enable one another to stand. Whether we're praying for one another or we're just voicing our faith for one another, that we just stand with one another. We create that atmosphere in the presence of the Lord. Because the enemy will come against anyone that feels like they don't have enough faith or don't have enough strength or don't have the ability to stand; we have to help one another.
One of the main objectives, if you want to call it that, of the satanic realm is to wear out the saints of the Most High. We go through a lot of stuff, physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, but it's all designed to wear us out. Again, it's not complicated, it's simply coming before the Lord and just asking Him for His strength. He's faithful to pour that out on us.
What we're talking about is the fiery darts, the assault that's coming against us. What can we do about that? Hits us in our strength, hits us in our focus, hits us in many different ways. One of the pieces of armor that we haven't talked about is the shield of faith.
The stronger our belief, the more effective that shield is. And even the use of a shield clear into the dark ages, they would all stand together and they formed a protection for everybody. That shield being the shield of what you believe; that brings together so many principles.
The importance of creating an atmosphere and standing with one another, believing for one another, that enables us. And it's like those shields being held together, like Dale was talking about, being held up together, in forming that covering over the body and just protecting them.
Because we're talking about spiritual warfare, the attack most frequently, that the shields can withstand and return is hit on the psychic level, on the level of thinking, on the level of understanding, because that comes in direct battle with your belief. What do you believe? Who do you believe you are?
In all these pieces of armor, I feel like we need to keep uppermost in our mind that these are expressions of Christ in the flesh. These are expressions of the side of Christ that's the warrior. It talks all over in the scriptures about Him being Lord of Lords, King of Kings, and how He is a warrior.
He comes on a white horse with a sword and all these things. It's very depicting upon what we're talking about here is; we see Christ as portrayed in the scriptures as a warrior. In this day, He's coming forth and being manifested in a many membered body. He's not only a warrior, but He is that. I don't think it's really been explained out there very much that some of the manifestation of Christ, and maybe even the first manifestation of Christ through His many membered body, will be a warrior.
And the expressions that we're talking about, the shield of faith, the breastplate, all these things, we haven't even talked about the sword of the spirit. But all these things are, are expressions of Christ coming through a many member body in the earth.
It's for the whole family. And so the armor of God comes; and we've talked about this in the past, about all of the people having a part that they play in the armor of God to protect the whole. Because the whole body is moving forward with a protective, wearing of the armor together.
And like all these shields, we were talking about that earlier, covering all the people in the fiery darts coming. But each part is protecting each other part in the process of doing the will of God together.
You can start thinking about the army or armor of God, and you can think about the warrior and all that.
Without the love, you're nothing. All the manifestation of the pieces of armor that we're talking about, there has to be, there must be the underlying spirit of God's love, the Father's love coming through that; even in judgment. See, the human mind thinks judgment is, I hate my enemy, so I'm going to kill my enemy.
That's not the spirit of the Father. Everything that He is motivated by is even in judgment, corrective and punitive, is love. It's His love for His Son. It's His love for His people. This His love for His kingdom. If we look through His eyes and we know who He is, He can't help, but love because that's what He is.
This thing of love must be part of what we talk about when we talk about spiritual warfare. We have to make sure that we don't have a wrong spirit. That's what happened to what the sons of thunder, when the Samaritans were gonna didn't accept Christ when he's going to walk through their town, the sons of thunder go, shall we call fire down from heaven and consume them? And Christ goes, you don't know what spirit you're of. It's gotta be His love.
How can I love you, if I did not prepare for the battle by putting on His attributes and standing and putting them to work. We're singing victory songs. We don't remember the attack on our heart, on our loins, on our feet. How many people are going to be set free by those people who have walked in the victory that God is offering, and you can't do that if you're all stuck full of fiery darts.
No, you can't. But a lot of times the fiery darts make you feel like you're not worthy.
See, that's truth because the fiery darts mainly go to the psychic, go to the mind.
And no matter what piece of equipment we use, we have to remember that the battle has already been won. We have been given the commission. And the privilege of manifesting it to the earth. It is the Lord in us that accomplishes the victory in the battle. We're born of God, and it says, He that is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that overcomes the world, our faith.
