I know the power of this work, I love to hear the impact these conversations have. Okay, let's get into it.

I got invited to speak on a podcast. They're coming weeks. And they sent me a for much like I do. And I've got a guest coming on. And I had to fill out a number of details. And one of the details that she asked me to put in there was a couple of sentences that to introduce me about who I was. And I have found that question quite challenging in the past. It's like, well, who are who are you? And I sat with him for a while because I've got any number of ways I could answer that question. But like I've done when I've been interviewed other times, I come back to who I am. And my essence which is beyond the hats I wear as a as a coach, as a parent as a husband, but like but who am I? So all three of those things were part of the answer. But more came down to my passion for connecting people for creating more unity for bringing people together. And that question of identity of who you truly are. They got me thinking. So I looked up the definition for identity. And identity is now exactly, then it's about that truth. Find the the definition now, after I've changed agree, the fact of being or feeling that you are a particular type of person. That's the truth, right? It's the truth of who you are. It's also described as

a person's unique characteristics or affiliations. So it's the truth of who we are from that unique perspective. So who are you? Who are you truly? And is the world saying that if I ask the important people in your world, when they give you the same answer? Maybe like me, when you've been asked a question in the past, you might struggle to have a think about what the answer that is. And if you're not being who that you truly are, and people aren't seeing that, like what is it you're hiding? And why? Because when we step into our true self, yes, there are times where maybe it's a bit different to how we've been presenting ourselves. And there can be people who react in an interesting way. Because they're not used to it. But it's what you I just want to remind you of this is whatever they bring that they don't like, whatever they are way they are reacting. That's a projection of them. If they're saying, Oh, why are you doing this? Why are you doing that, that's, that's them, adjusting to you just being you. Because in the past, you've done your best to fit in with them. Because you're you're a bit of a chameleon, right? Because you have that ability just to fit in wherever you can. best you can. Because it's been something you've probably know most of your life that you adjust. But that's taken you away from who you really are. And when you step back into that, and you stop being everything to everyone, and in so instead you're back yourself and just be yourself. It can be a big adjustment for people in your life. It's your ability then to stay calm through that and not to react but just question why they'd be reacting like that T. It's their stuff anyway

growth, personal growth and contribution to have our absolute highest needs, comes down to you, continuing to upgrade your identity, or really come back to being who you truly are. And often, it's that part of us that when we look back to our younger years, so we naturally were. And then life happens and situations happen and different circumstances happen that take away our confidence. Create patterns of behavior that mean that we struggle to really just be ourselves. Or you might get to that point me like, I can't even remember who I am anymore. All those questions are good to ask, though, because that curiosity about who you are and where you might not being true to that leads you to answers. And my guest yesterday that he will hear from later this week, Braden, he talks about that concept of curiosity. And we'll just flick through my notes here. You use the phrase, being the leading investigator of his life. And I love that. And I'm looking forward to sharing that one with you later in the week. So be curious, be the leading investigator about who you are, where you want to be, because we don't get what we want, by doing. And then, and then then when you've done those bids, I've got this, then I can do this, then I'll be this, then that we start with who we are. So for you, who do you want to be? Who do you need to be, so that you can do the things that you know, need to be done so you can have everything that it is that you want in your life? Take some time with this. As always ask questions. And for those who have been listening for a long time, because I know, I know that I don't get to see specifically who you are. But I can see from the people who have been watching and where they come from. It's something you've been listening for a long time, and I really appreciate you. I'd love it. If you could take the time to do a quick review. Really short, so that I can You can help me to reach more people. And yeah, help other people to get whatever it is you're getting out of this and whatever else that they need out of this as well. See you tomorrow. Sorry, you'll hear from me tomorrow.
