Welcome to Wisdom-Trek with Gramps. Wisdom is the final frontier in gaining true knowledge. We are on a daily trek to create a legacy of wisdom, seek out discernment and insights, and boldly grow where few have chosen to grow before. Hello, my friend; this is Gramps. Thanks for coming along on today’s trek as we increase Wisdom and Create a Living Legacy. Proverbs 16:16 How much better to get wisdom than gold, and sound judgment than silver! We are on Day 1679 of our Trek, and it’s time to explore another nugget of wisdom, which includes an inspirational quote along with some wise words from Gramps for today’s trek. If you apply the words you hear today, over time, it will help you become more healthy, wealthy, and wise as you continue your daily trek of life. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget:
Today’s quote is from Denis Waitley, and it is: A dream is your creative vision for your life in the future. You must break out of your current comfort zone and become comfortable with the unfamiliar and the unknown.
Creative Vision
Dreams are essential both in your sleep at night and for your future vision. Dreams help you to imagine that which may be far off. Dreams are like looking through a telescope to see your final destination in various areas of your life. Like you cannot navigate with a telescope, you need goals and plans that will enable you to have a creative vision of how you will reach your destination. As you proceed towards your final vision during your trek of life, you will run into many obstacles and setbacks on your way. You will experience many unfamiliar and unknown situations which will take you out of your comfort zone into situations you would prefer to avoid. Going through these times will help you to appreciate your waypoints and destination even more. Allow you minds, hearts, and soul to learn and grow during those difficult times. If your vision is solid and creative enough, it will be worth the journey. Make sure you enjoy the journey and not just yearn for the destination. God ultimately knows what we will face in our journey of life, and we can rest in the fact that He will be there with us and guide us.
